The 124-foot (37.80m) Lloyds Ships motor yacht SUNSHINE is a ray of light for anyone who steps aboard. Built in 1984, this classical beauty features exterior design and engineering by Fratelli Benetti.
SUNSHINE has been well maintained since her launch, undergoing a multitude of refits, rebuilds and updates. In 2003, she was fully rebuilt. This rebuild included the addition of new main engines and the total rebuild of her engine room and all technical spaces aboard. In 2014, the yacht underwent a multimillion-dollar refit. Janet Martin updated and restyled the yacht’s interior to top condition, providing the yacht with an entirely new aesthetic that is both welcoming and chic.
Motor yacht SUNSHINE features an aluminum hull and superstructure. She has three decks for guests to enjoy. The yacht has a seven-foot, six-inch (2.28m) draft and a beam of 25 feet, six inches (7.77m). SUNSHINE’s interior layout ensures she has excellent charter potential. The yacht is available for a three-year lease-to-purchase option with zero interest.
The main deck of SUNSHINE is comfortable and welcoming. Blue hues and neutral tones create a beachy chic vibe in the main salon, which is accessed through double electronic sliding glass doors from the aft deck. Beautiful matching settees are found to port and starboard and are situated around coffee tables, making this the perfect place to socialize. Stairs forward of the seating area to starboard lead guests down to the lower deck accommodations. To port is a formal dining table with seating for eight. This space also has a beautiful storage cabinet for stemware and china. The bridge deck is home to SUNSHINE’s skylounge, which has large windows that provide natural light and incredible views. This space features seating as well as a full bar and an entertainment system with a 46-inch TV. The galley of the yacht has an ideal position aboard, separated from the prep area used by the interior team. The space and design of the galley are like those found on 150-foot-plus yachts. Long-range cruising aboard is a breeze thanks to a walk-in refrigerator and freezer.
Forward of the salon is the yacht’s primary stateroom, which has a library/study to port. Here there is a working desk, bookshelves, a large window and a Mac computer. This space also could be converted into a child’s room if need be. The yacht’s additional four staterooms include two VIPs with king-size beds and two twin staterooms with bunk beds; these sleep a total of six. SUNSHINE also has three crew cabins in addition to a captain’s cabin.
