Built to explore well beyond conventional cruising grounds, ZEMBRA is a 2026 152’ (46.3m) Delta Marine expedition yacht combining long-range capability with custom design and specialized exploration infrastructure. Constructed in advanced composite at Delta Marine’s Seattle shipyard, she offers 498 GT of volume, a 30’10” (9.4m) beam and a distinctive Arizona Bronze exterior finish. Scheduled for delivery in late October 2026, ZEMBRA features naval architecture, exterior styling and interior space planning by Delta Design Group, with interiors by Roger Thomas, Woogmaster Studio and Delta Design Group.
Her interior reflects a considered approach to both design and functionality, with accommodation for up to 12 guests in five staterooms and the flexibility to create a sixth. The full-beam main-deck master takes advantage of panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and includes a custom king bed, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. Below deck, a queen VIP and two mirrored king staterooms are joined by a convertible twin with a Pullman berth, while the dedicated fitness center can be converted into additional guest accommodation with two Pullmans. Crew quarters provide five cabins for 10 crew, along with a dedicated mess and laundry facilities. Accessibility is incorporated throughout the yacht, with wide passageways, an elevator connecting the lower deck to the sundeck and flush thresholds.
Roger Thomas’s interior design brings a distinctive resort-style character to ZEMBRA, with custom cerused oak, stainless-steel accents, custom Quintus furniture, Tai Ping silk and wool rugs and Rocky Mountain Hardware. A celestial ceiling inlay in the dining room and a hand-painted mural extending across three decks add individual character to the interior. Outside, the sundeck is arranged for relaxation and entertaining, with a forward Jacuzzi, custom wet bar, lounging and alfresco dining. An elevated bow observation platform and custom FunAir inflatable crow’s nest offer additional vantage points, while the aft deck incorporates a certified touch-and-go helipad.
What sets ZEMBRA apart is the extent to which her expedition capabilities have been integrated into the yacht’s design. She is purpose-engineered to accommodate a three-person U-Boat Worx submarine, a two-seat ICON A5 amphibious aircraft and a 300-meter-capable Boxfish ROV, supported by dedicated launch infrastructure and an onboard scientific wet lab. The aircraft can be stored on the bridge deck aft, while the submarine is supported by specialized handling equipment. The submarine, aircraft and ROV are available for purchase separately.
Her expedition capabilities extend beyond the mothership through a custom 55’ JR Marine catamaran shadow vessel, also available separately. Designed to support the four-ton submarine, the catamaran features an A-frame launch system, hydraulic beaching bow ramp, parasailing winch, scuba compressor station and solar array. Both vessels have certified touch-and-go helicopter landing capability, providing additional flexibility for remote cruising.
Supporting her global cruising capabilities are twin Caterpillar C32 engines producing 1,200 bhp each, providing a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 15.5 knots. She has a 9’10” (3.0m) draft, with Quantum QC-1800 Zero Speed stabilizers, dual FCI watermakers and twin Kohler 99 kW generators.
