2000/2024 Trinity Yachts 160ft

After a $20 million, two-year refit completed in April 2024, NO BAD IDEAS has emerged as the most extensively updated Trinity yacht in existence. Now offered in like-new condition, this motor yacht is an engineering showcase, designed for discerning buyers who understand the value of a turnkey platform backed by proven pedigree and modern capability.

The scope of technical work sets NO BAD IDEAS apart. Her hull was extended by 10 feet, and keel lengthened by approximately 25 feet, with more than 27 tons of added ballast to enhance performance and stability. Over 60% of the hull plating was renewed, including key structural areas below the engine room and forward bilges, while all through-hulls, stern tubes, rudder foils, and stabilizer foundations were replaced or re-engineered. The rudders were enlarged by 25%, improving handling and control.

Above deck, a redesigned superstructure includes a new mast and hardtop, an entirely reimagined flybridge with a forward Jacuzzi, custom bar, and U-shaped dining, as well as an overhauled Portuguese bridge lounge with fire pit seating. The bridge deck aft was redesigned for fluid guest flow and features shaded dining for 12 and a spacious wraparound aft settee. Dual 10-person Jacuzzis, one on the swim platform and one on the flybridge, anchor the yacht’s emphasis on outdoor living. A new Shark Gray Awlgrip hull and Matterhorn White superstructure, combined with full teak deck replacement, elevate both aesthetics and longevity.

Inside, the yacht was stripped and reimagined by A La Mer, including the conversion of the formal dining room into a main deck VIP spa suite with a convertible massage table. The main salon is fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, an L-shaped sofa, automated sliding doors, and seamless flow into the formal lounge. Upstairs, the bridge deck sky lounge is outfitted with an 85” TV, surround sound, self-playing baby grand piano, and built-in cigar humidor. A newly constructed galley features high-end appliances, stonework, and cabinetry. Behind the scenes, a Savant AV system, satellite TV, dual Starlink antennas, and Sailor VSAT provide cutting-edge connectivity and control.

Six staterooms sleep 12 guests, including a full-beam master on the main deck with a his-and-her en-suite, two walk-in closets, and a private sitting area. Two VIP suites below deck each feature king beds and dual-vanity en-suites, while two convertible twin-to-king cabins add versatility. The main deck VIP spa suite doubles as a wellness retreat.

This is a vessel built for capability and comfort. Her toys and tenders include a 17’ Walker Bay with 115hp Yamaha, four Sea-Doo GTI 130 SE Jet Skis, four underwater scooters, an inflatable dock, slide, climbing wall, and refurbished cranes and davits. A new dive compressor and extensive alfresco entertaining zones make her equally fit for adventure and hospitality.

With her ABS Class survey recently completed and every major component either replaced or rebuilt, NO BAD IDEAS is future-proofed. She also presents an exceptional charter platform, thanks to her spacious guest layout, expansive deck spaces, and full tech and toy suite. In a market full of partial refits and cosmetic upgrades, NO BAD IDEAS is the rare yacht that delivers complete transformation, built on sound engineering, smart investment, and a clear vision.
