The 65’ (19.81m) cutter sailing yacht MAYERO is a rare find. Designed by Bruce Farr and built by Dufour, this yacht beautifully blends a performance sailing cruiser with ample accommodations in a quality build.  MAYERO is a perfect family cruiser and is ready for her next adventure.

The sailing yacht showcases a timeless interior with an inviting ambiance. MAYERO‘s full-beam main salon showcases a large dining table to port and seating as well as a smaller table to starboard. Just aft is a navigation station. The main salon also has a flat-screen TV and stereo making it perfect for relaxing after a day on the water.  MAYERO has a well-equipped galley with a Force 10 gimballed propane stove, microwave, and a cold plate fridge and freezer. The galley makes meal prep underway easy.

MAYERO offers 10 guests in five staterooms or eight guests and two crew in four guest staterooms and one crew stateroom. The sailing yacht features a port aft master stateroom with a queen-size bed and en-suite bath. Also, aft is a queen-bed stateroom and a twin bunked stateroom. Forward, MAYERO has two full-size bed staterooms. Each stateroom aboard is fitted with opening ports as well as air conditioning and heat.

On deck, MAYERO features a guest cockpit and a dual helm cockpit, both have Bimini covers. The guest cockpit is perfect for relaxing underway and at anchor as well as alfresco dining for eight. The cockpit features wrap around seating and a folding teak table. MAYERO has a well-equipped sail package with a 120 genoa headsail on a Profurl rolling furler, an asymmetric gennaker, a staysail on a Profurl rolling furler and a Dacron mainsail with four battens and three reef points.

The sailing yacht MAYERO has been lovingly cared for by the same owner for the past 15 years. In 2012, the yacht’s mast and standing rigging were replaced and in 2014, her running rigging was replaced.

MAYERO is that rare find, a beautiful blend of performance cruiser with ample accomodations in a quality build.

MAYERO is dual cockpit, cutter rigged yacht that will stand up to the most demanding conditions with a short-handed crew.

The main companionway leads into the full beam salon. There is a large dining table and seating to port, a smaller table and seating to starboard just forward of the navigation desk.

Forward of the salon there are two cabins with heads on port and starboard sides. Forward of the starboard head is a sail/boatswains locker.

Aft of the salon to the port side is the working galley. To starboard is the companionway leading to three additional staterooms. 

The full beam main salon has a large dining table and settee to port with an additional table and settee to starboard. The navigation table and electronics also to starboard.

MAYERO comes from a Bruce Farr design and was built in 1995 by the highly esteemed Dufour Yachts Shipyard in La Rochelle, France. Under the same ownership for 15 years, MAYERO is now ready for her next adventures. 

It is reported that the mast and Navtec rod rigging were replaced and the engine rebuilt in 2012. In 2014 most of the running rigging was replaced. In 2019 MAYERO was hauled for bottom paint, shaft bearings and zincs along with new G-31 AGM batteries.
