S/Y FRIDA is a magnificent custom-built sailing yacht that has taken luxury and performance cruising to a whole new level. The yacht was built by Green Marine in the UK and project-managed by X-Yachts Denmark. The yacht boasts a carbon hull and deck construction with carbon composite bulkheads and keel floor structures. The yacht's sleek and stylish exterior design is a testament to modern yacht design and technology.
FRIDA’s interior is as elegant and beautiful as its exterior, with the finest teak veneers on the panels covering the carbon bulkheads, Corian worktops, and spacious accommodations. The yacht can accommodate up to six guests in three cabins. The master suite is located aft and features a large king-size bed, ample wardrobes and drawers, and an en-suite head with shower. The two guest cabins have single berths and en-suite heads with showers. The crew cabin is located in the bow.
The yacht's interior spaces are tastefully designed and fitted with luxurious amenities that make the voyage onboard more comfortable and relaxing. The main salon/dining area features a pop-up TV, and the dining table raises and lowers electrically to create a lounging area. The galley is fitted with solid Corian worktops, luxurious faucets, a new 4-burner gas stove and oven, microwave oven, and a built-in 225-litre top-opening freezer, and a built-in 120-litre front-opening Frigonautica fridge.
FRIDA’s deck is timeless, elegant, clean, and uncluttered, with every feasible sailing control within reach of the helmsman. The yacht features a carbon fibre furling boom, a carbon fibre mast, hydraulic systems, and fingertip steering, with all necessary controls and switches within the helmsman's reach. The anchor launch system makes it easier to anchor, and the yacht's anchor is held in a deck recessed arm made of carbon. The arm is hinged and is brought forward by a hydraulic engine built into the bow. The yacht also features a deck recessed spray hood dodger resting underneath teak decked carbon lids, new recessed cockpit speakers and port lights, a deck recessed mooring winch with foot controls, and a transom garage to accommodate a dinghy and other equipment.
FRIDA’s sails and rigging are top-of-the-line, featuring a Hall Spars carbon mast, carbon fibre furling boom, in-boom furling mainsail, 110% furling jib, 124 m² Gennaker, 350 m² Code One, furling, and 190 m².
