The Monaco Yacht Show is where the world’s finest yachts gather, and this year, Northrop & Johnson is showcasing an extraordinary fleet on display, around the show and at anchor. To spotlight what makes each yacht so special, we asked our brokers to share their perspectives in their own words.
ALFA NERO | 266’ (82m) Oceanco | €88,500,000
“ALFA NERO is not only one of the most iconic superyachts ever built—she’s a true trailblazer in design and innovation,” says Yacht Broker Richard Higgins.
Delivered by Oceanco in 2007 and comprehensively refitted in 2024, ALFA NERO remains one of the most celebrated and distinctive superyachts on the water. “She offers a rare opportunity to own a multi-award-winning Oceanco with a revolutionary aft deck infinity pool, stunning Alberto Pinto interiors, and unmatched lifestyle features,” explains Richard.
Her instantly recognizable profile is defined by a black steel hull, light superstructure, low stern, and minimal overhangs. At 82 meters and with 1,250m² of living space, she balances impressive volume with refined proportions. Inside, Alberto Pinto’s design fuses Art Deco with modern pop art, accented by pieces from Lichtenstein and Murakami. Rich wenge wood, lacquered panels, fine leathers, and precious metals run throughout. A Pleyel grand piano anchors the main salon, where retractable glass doors open directly to the aft deck.
Wellness and leisure are at the forefront. Facilities include a top-deck gym with 180-degree views, steam room, sauna, spa with sea terrace, cinema, and beauty salon. Outdoor spaces are equally versatile, from the infinity pool deck to a bridge deck with multiple lounges and a top deck Jacuzzi. Powered by twin MTUs, she cruises comfortably at 18 knots and reaches 20 knots. ALFA NERO remains an icon of pedigree, charter appeal, and technical innovation.
AXIOMA | 236’ (72m) Dunya Yachts | €65,500,000
The striking AXIOMA is the first and largest yacht built by Dunya Yachts. “As one of the most recognizable and charter-successful yachts on the water, AXIOMA is truly in a class of her own,” says Yacht Broker Richard Higgins. Delivered in 2013 and consistently upgraded, her exterior by Sterling Scott features clean lines and a turquoise hull, while interiors by Alberto Pinto introduced the industry-first open mezzanine atrium in the main salon, flooding the yacht’s heart with natural light.
AXIOMA has been recognized with multiple awards, including a Judges’ Commendation at the 2014 World Superyacht Awards. She continues to benefit from significant investment, most recently a comprehensive 2024–2025 refit at MB92 La Ciotat. This included full repainting of the hull and superstructure, complete mechanical overhauls, and refreshed systems across HVAC, pumps, and electrical. With a steel hull and a 5,000nm range at 12 knots, she combines global capability with comfort and efficiency.
Accommodation for 12 is across six cabins, all on the main deck or above, highlighted by an upper deck master suite with panoramic views, private terrace, and a skylight. Amenities abound with a dedicated cinema with tiered seating, a bridge deck wellness area with massage room, steam room, and beauty space, plus expansive alfresco areas. The main deck infinity pool features glass sides, while the bridge deck Jacuzzi includes a swim-up bar. Outdoor dining for 14, vast sunpads, and an extensive toy collection ensure endless variety. “From the double-height main salon to the infinity pool and private upper deck master suite, she was designed to impress and built to perform,” shares Richard.
BLACK LEGEND | 163’ (50m) Mangusta 165E | €23,950,000
Delivered in 2017 by Overmarine, BLACK LEGEND is the most distinctive Mangusta 165E built. Recognized with the “Power Yacht Over 40m” award at the International Yacht & Aviation Awards, she combines striking aesthetics with outstanding performance. Powered by the latest MTU engines with KaMeWa waterjets, she reaches an impressive 35 knots, while zero-speed and underway gyro stabilizers ensure guest comfort.
Her bold black hull sets the tone for expansive outdoor spaces, including one of the largest aft decks in her class with a custom granite bar and lounge, a foredeck Jacuzzi with sunpads, and a sundeck featuring a DJ booth and cocktail bar. Inside, her Asian-inspired décor is defined by black leather, marble finishes, and bespoke furnishings. She accommodates 10 guests in four cabins, including a full-beam master and VIP, plus two doubles.
Yacht Broker Ed Dickinson says, “BLACK LEGEND is unlike any other maxi yacht ever delivered. Her interior and exterior design have been meticulously finished to a standard unseen on any other Mangusta 165E.” He adds, “Guests should not miss the lower deck accommodations, with a full cinema and dedicated gym.”
SERENISSIMA I | 154’ (47m) Mengi Yay | €33,950,000
Built in 2024 by Mengi Yay, SERENISSIMA I was born from one of Turkey’s leading construction yards, renowned for building custom yachts since 1964. Yacht Broker Ed Dickinson says, “SERENISSIMA I was built for a highly experienced yachtsman, who designed the yacht around maximizing the owner’s comfort onboard.”
She offers standout features that elevate her above others in the 499 GRT range. “The yacht is a huge success on charter; however, she is equally suited for private use and has an unrivalled owner’s deck,” shares Ed. That upper deck is entirely dedicated to the owner, complete with a Jacuzzi, dining area, and private outdoor lounge. He also highlights, “additional standout features include the main deck gentleman’s lounge with balcony and an elevator serving three decks, unusual for a 499 GRT vessel.” Of those, Ed describes the gentleman’s lounge as “the centerpiece of SERENISSIMA I.”
With design by Nuvolari Lenard and naval architecture by Van Oossanen, SERENISSIMA I combines luxury, efficiency, and innovative use of space, making her an unmissable yacht at this year’s show.

This bold 40m explorer is designed for family adventure and long-range comfort. “She is best for family cruising, those looking to embark on an adventure in style and comfort in navigation,” Gabriele shares. With a 5,000nm range, commercial-grade engine room, and customizable features, she balances rugged capability with refined luxury.

NOROADER | 116’ (35.36m) Sunseeker | €11,600,000
NOROADER is a 2016 Sunseeker 116 built to Platinum specification with bespoke upgrades and a strong pedigree, including recognition at the Asia Boating Awards and International Superyacht Society Awards. A 2023 refit refreshed her interiors and exterior spaces, adding new wood flooring, furnishings, lighting, and upgrades across her flybridge and foredeck.
Her foredeck is one of the most impressive in her class. Yacht Broker Matt Palmer says, “The foredeck really is mightily impressive, with seating and sunbeds which cascade down to the Jacuzzi, a fantastic, elevated position where one can take in the ever-changing scenery. And by night, this area is transformed into an open-air cinema, which is a real hit for evenings together with the family.” The flybridge is equally versatile, now featuring a new bar, dining area, oversized daybeds, and retractable roof.
Performance is a key highlight. Fitted with Humphree Interceptors, she is, in Matt’s words, “the fastest Sunseeker 116 Yacht on the water.” While appealing to style-conscious buyers, her layout, with five cabins for up to 12 guests and generous communal spaces, also makes her a capable family yacht.
The interior is bright and contemporary, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a redesigned main salon. “The 2023 refit saw a knowledgeable and talented interior designer transform the saloon into a beautifully opulent, yet inviting, space for guests to relax and enjoy,” says Matt.
Aft, her hydraulic beach club doubles as a watersports hub, with storage for Seabobs, Jet Skis, and a custom inflatable dock pontoon.
“She’s a Sunseeker 116 yacht beyond comparison,” explains Matt. “NOROADER is vastly upgraded, both cosmetically and mechanically…better than new.”
MERCY OCEANS | 115’ (35.18m) Sunseeker | €9,000,000

“Built to LY3 Commercial Class, she features a full beam main deck master, two VIP cabins and two twins. She is fully loaded with upgraded stabilizers, tropical air conditioning, enhanced security features, along with a private area on the bow to relax around the hot tub,” Ed shares. For those interested in the charter market, Ed explains, “the Sunseeker 116 has to be one of the most popular charter models out there.”
Her American walnut interior, 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, and alfresco spaces, including a flybridge with dining and bar, and a foredeck Jacuzzi, make MERCY OCEANS an excellent example of performance yachting.
