California Yacht Charter Guide

Nature lovers, adventure seekers and those seeking relaxation all will fall in love with California during a luxury yacht charter

Those hailing from the Golden State will tell you that the “left coast is the best coast,” and California certainly puts up a good argument to support this catchphrase. The stunning deep-blue Pacific waters not only are teeming with sea life, which is very enticing to fishing enthusiasts, but the Pacific Ocean also laps the beautiful beaches and stunning rocky coastlines that frame California’s coastline. This is why a California luxury yacht charter is perfect for nature lovers, those who enjoy outdoor activities, adventure seekers or charter guests who enjoy relaxing and taking in beautiful sights.

Visit the picturesque town of Avalon, don a wetsuit and dive below the waterline of the Pacific to experience a kelp forest, head ashore for a hike or simply sit back with a glass of California-produced wine while you cruise, taking in the sights.

Other yachting hot spots to visit along the southern coastline of California include the golden beaches of Newport Beach. Off the coast of San Francisco
sits The Rock. Once thought to be an impenetrable prison, Alcatraz held federal criminals captive from the days of the Civil War. Now, a bird sanctuary, it is home to the first lighthouse on the West Coast of the States. Millions of visitors step foot here each year to tour the allegedly haunted cells.

Point Reyes National Seashore is a geological masterpiece, sitting just north of San Francisco. Lying on the San Andreas Fault, it is separated from the mainland and is partially submerged under the sea. With the location of beautiful wild coastal be
aches framed by stunning cliffs, there are few better places to take in a Pacific Coast sunset.
