Northrop & Johnson’s 2026 Newport Beach International Boat Show Sales Lineup
The Newport Beach International Boat Show (NBIBS) returns from April 16 to 19, 2026, set against the waterfront backdrop of Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach, California. As one of California’s largest boat shows, NBIBS brings together more than 200 yachts and over 40 leading brokerages and builders, with more than 5,000 visitors attending daily. The show continues to evolve, offering a reimagined vision of the yachting experience on the U.S. West Coast.
Northrop & Johnson is proud to be part of this event, with brokers from our Newport Beach and San Diego offices in attendance. Whether you’re considering ownership, charter, or building your next yacht, our team will be available throughout the show to offer guidance and arrange private viewings.
Newport Beach itself plays a central role in the experience. Beyond the docks, the area offers a distinct blend of coastal cruising, island-hopping access to Catalina, and a laid-back lifestyle that defines West Coast yachting.
Yachts on Display with Northrop & Johnson
NORDIC STAR | For Sale | Asking $1,750,000

The 96’ (29m) Lantana-built NORDIC STAR is a custom one-off long-range pilothouse motor yacht designed with Hargrave naval architecture and interior design. Built with a welded aluminum hull and superstructure, she offers semi-displacement efficiency and an approximate 3,000 nautical mile range at cruising speed. Recent upgrades include a full 2025 exterior paint job taken down to bare metal, fresh varnish, and serviced running gear, complementing her major 2014/2015 interior refit. Powered by twin Caterpillar D343Ts, she cruises at 10 knots with Naiad fin stabilizers and features four helm stations for exceptional visibility and control.
“I would have to say the classic lines of this one-off build are my favorite feature,” says Graham Rutherford. “Having the ability to launch the two tenders on the foredeck from either side of the vessel is another pretty cool feature.” He adds, “NORDIC STAR would be the best fit for the family who wants to travel. Her long range can get you to faraway places. A very strongly built stabilized vessel.” For those stepping aboard in Newport, Graham highlights, “You have to check out the roomy salon that opens up via a 3-panel glass accordion door to the aft deck, where you will find two beautiful wooden tables with seating for 14.”
SEA LA VIE | For Sale | Asking $1,800,000

The 2016 Sunseeker 75 Yacht SEA LA VIE offers a strong combination of performance, comfort, and practical layout, powered by twin MAN V12 engines delivering a 25-knot cruise and 34-knot top speed. A recent 2,000-hour engine service enhances her appeal as a turnkey opportunity. Her four-stateroom layout accommodates up to eight guests, including a full-beam master suite with panoramic windows, while separate crew quarters for two support onboard service and privacy. The main salon features a 55” TV and surround system, flowing directly into a spacious aft cockpit dining area, with a fully equipped galley supporting extended cruising.
“This is a yacht that balances performance and usability,” notes Chad Pordes. “With her recent engine service, zero-speed stabilizers, and proven Sunseeker build, she’s ready for an owner who wants to step aboard and start cruising immediately.” He adds, “If you only have a few minutes onboard, head straight to the flybridge. It’s where the yacht really comes alive, with generous seating, sunpads, and a bar that makes it easy to imagine a full day on the water or hosting guests.”
DON JUAN | For Sale | Asking $1,050,000

The 72’ (21.95m) Elliott Yacht Fisher DON JUAN is a custom-built long-range sportfishing yacht and the last Elliott ever built, still under original ownership. Designed for serious offshore capability, she has proven her range with voyages from the Galapagos Islands to Alaska. Built on an Airex cored hull and powered for economical cruising at 10 knots, she features Naiad stabilizers, a tower for fish spotting, and advanced sonar systems, making her equally capable for extended cruising or high-performance fishing.
“DON JUAN is the kind of yacht that appeals to someone who truly uses their boat,” Robert Petrina explains. “The pedigree, the original ownership, and the range she’s achieved set her apart in today’s market.” He continues, “The massive cockpit, bait systems, and full fishing setup make her a serious offshore platform, but at the same time, the teak interior, large salon, and sunken bar create a space that’s just as enjoyable for relaxing after a day on the water.”
After the Show: Where to Dine

When the show wraps for the day, Newport Beach offers no shortage of ways to continue the experience. From harborfront dining in Lido Marina Village to standout restaurants across Orange County, the local culinary scene is as impressive as the yachts on display.
Northrop & Johnson has curated a Newport Beach Dining Guide to help you make the most of your time ashore, whether you’re planning a celebratory dinner, casual waterfront lunches, or something more elevated to close out the day.
