The Daily Brief: Northrop & Johnson at the 2026 Newport Beach International Boat Show

Set against the stunning Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach, California, the Northrop & Johnson is proud to once again be in attendance during the 2026 Newport Beach International Boat Show.

Brokers from our Newport Beach and San Diego offices will be in attendance, along with team members from our other global offices, to offer guidance and arrange private viewings.

With five yachts on display, we can’t wait for the docks to come to life with yacht owners, charterers, captains, crew, and lovers of all things yachting.

Day 1 of the Show – Thursday, April 16, 2026

Day one of the Newport Beach International Boat Show set the tone for a strong week ahead. We welcomed guests to the docks with beautiful weather and steady traffic throughout the day, creating the perfect atmosphere to step aboard and explore.

Northrop & Johnson saw strong interest across the fleet, with NORDIC STAR drawing particular attention from attendees. Her classic lines, recent updates, and long-range capability caught a lot of eyes, positioning her as an early standout of the show.

Day 2 and 3 of the Show – Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, 2026

Day two of the Newport Beach International Boat Show carried the momentum forward, with another beautiful day on the docks and continued strong interest across the N&J fleet. As the sun set on Friday, the energy shifted into one of the most anticipated moments of the show, our signature N&J Client Yacht Hop.

From 7 to 9:30 pm, the docks came alive as guests moved from yacht to yacht, enjoying an evening of music, cocktails, and great company. The N&J stand was buzzing, with guests dancing, drinking, and hopping from deck to deck. Highlights included Platypus’ signature “Platypus Punch” and The Macallan 12 being poured throughout the evening.
