Step on board and the cockpit, teak-paneled like all the exterior flooring, immediately reveals the attention devoted to maximizing space for social interaction-a large rectangular table in teak, a fixed bench and three armchairs can accommodate up to eight guests. Stairs from the cockpit give access to the spoiler and fly bridge. A sliding door in tempered, darkened glass leads into the roomy salon. Immediately starboard is the stairway to the master cabin. The interiors, as elsewhere, are in teak, and the walls are entirely paneled in mat finish teak, with light colored fabric for the upper sections. The salon is flooded with light from the two large rectangular windows, and includes a living area intended for total relaxation. Abundant storage everywhere on the main deck reminds one of being in a much larger yacht. Saloon also boasts a desk/office area to starboard and many shelves for photos and books. Moving forward down a few steps is the galley to port, access to the crew quarters and engine room. Crew quarters consist of two quarters, one a single bunk and the other are bunk beds. The Miele washer and separate dryer are in the same crew area. Crew head to starboard opposite the engine room door.
Back up to galley and moving forward starboard side, huge dining room and table for 8-10 people, window behind table tips out. Moving further forward there are two guest cabins, one with twins and one over and under. Forward to the bow is the spacious VIP stateroom, all three cabins have their own in suite heads. All three cabins are extremely spacious and headroom is excellent. Aft of the lower salon is the private entrance starboard to the Master suite. Full beam master with a huge window aft, separate head with shower and double sinks. Three hang up closets and more than adequate storage. King size bed with custom mattress. Light and bright throughout the master. Great separation from guest and kids. Access to the fly bridge is by way of a molded staircase to the largest entertaining space aboard. Grill, refrigerator, large table make this area where you want to be either cruising or at anchor. The hard top has a soft insert that opens and retracts when the day is over. Aft on the fly is a large davit used to lift the tender/jet ski. The other expansive entertaining area is the foredeck, built in seating with a large table with a umbrella receptacle, built in seating with sunshades that cris-cross the deck. There is space for 12 people comfortably. This space is what made the Ferretti Altura ahead of her time and desirable compared to most yachts in her class. Â Four staterooms, four en-suite heads, tremendous entertaining or just relaxing space, gyro stabilized, speed, Ferretti quality, craftsmanship and the feel of a 100-foot yacht. One of the best layouts Ferretti has ever produced. She is located in Fort Lauderdale and ready to go for her next adventure.
