Charter Highlights from the 2026 MYBA Show

Posted May 14, 2026 in Events

The 2026 MYBA Charter Show brought an exciting week of charter activity to Sanremo, with brokers, clients, captains and crew gathering from April 27 – 30 to experience some of the Mediterranean’s standout charter yachts.

This year, Northrop & Johnson showcased two yachts that each showed off their own distinct character: PALOMA, the 137’ (24m) Ferretti Custom Line Navetta and NOROADER, the 116’ (35.3m) Sunseeker 116 model.

Throughout the show, PALOMA welcomed guests aboard to experience her refined Italian design and expansive outdoor living, while NOROADER stood out for her sleek, contemporary profile and versatile spaces for entertaining and socializing. Together, the two yachts gave attendees a well-rounded look at the variety of experiences available within today’s charter market.

To kick off the week, Northrop & Johnson hosted an evening at Victory Morgana Restaurant overlooking the harbor in Sanremo on Monday, April 27th. The evening brought together brokers, clients, captains and industry partners for drinks and dinner in an idyllic waterfront setting.

The dinner was generously supported by MTN and Bermuda. MTN delivers fully managed and integrated connectivity solutions across the maritime, enterprise and energy sectors, helping vessels and remote operations stay connected worldwide through reliable satellite internet and wireless services. Bermuda, a valued strategic partner of Northrop & Johnson, continues to be recognized as a leading yachting destination thanks to its strong marine infrastructure, marinas, provisioning services and crew-friendly facilities.

Guests at the dinner enjoyed a menu that included Salmon Tartare with avocado, yuzu mayo and mango cream, alongside a selection of Italian-inspired main courses and cocktails served overlooking the view.

One of the week’s highlights was onboard PALOMA during the yacht’s “Talk & Taste” event hosted with VSF. The event paired wines with a carefully selected menu of canapés and offered brokers and guests the chance to spend time onboard amongst the yacht’s exceptional fine art collection. The experience gave visitors a feel for the unique atmosphere and style that define a charter onboard PALOMA, while also creating an opportunity for meaningful conversations away from the busy docks.

NOROADER hosted several events of her own during the week, including an onboard breakfast curated by Chef Luka with Captain Yasin and the crew, followed by private tours of the yacht. Guests also joined the team for a hosted lunch with Captain Alexander and crew, offering another opportunity to experience the yacht firsthand and connect with the people behind the onboard experience.

NOROADER also received well-earned recognition during the show, taking 2nd place in the Chef’s Competition (36–39m category). This year’s competition theme, “A Flower Feast for Breakfast”, celebrated Sanremo’s identity as the “City of Flowers” and challenged chefs to create three breakfast dishes inspired by floral elements, creativity and presentation. Competitors were guided by three words (fresh, floral, and inspirational) and judged on originality, taste, presentation, technique and overall impression, with all preparation completed onboard under timed conditions. Chef Luka’s result highlighted both his creativity and technical skill, while also adding another memorable achievement to a successful week for NOROADER and her crew.
