For this final chapter, the renowned Scottish whisky house turns to New Orleans, a city synonymous with vibrant music, rich culture and an unmistakable passion for celebration.

Crafted by The Macallan’s Whisky Mastery Team, this special edition single malt is matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks. The rich sweetness imparted by American oak meets the warming spices of European oak, creating a beautifully balanced expression inspired by the city’s culinary and cocktail traditions.

On the nose, bright orange peel mingles with cinnamon, clove and star anise. The palate reveals creamy vanilla, almond praline and nutmeg, followed by delicate notes of dried fruit and cherries, leading to a lingering finish of sweet oak and gentle spice.

Adding an artistic dimension, The Macallan collaborated with New Orleans-born artist Hill Spriggins, whose expressive artwork captures the city’s rhythm, color and celebratory spirit through striking packaging.
