ALTERNATE WINTER CARIBBEAN DESTINATIONS

Posted October 23, 2017 in Charter by Janine St.Denis

Northrop & Johnson’s charter experts with the help of our fleet captains have curated a variety of new itineraries to ensure your winter holidays and luxury charters are unforgettable. In addition, a multitude of Northrop & Johnson luxury charter yachts will be available for charter in these alternate destinations.

In the northern Caribbean, the islands of St. Kitts, Nevis and Antigua were unharmed by 2017’s Atlantic hurricanes. These beautiful islands have so much to offer and are magnificent jump-off points for any Caribbean yacht charter. We recommend joining the yacht in St. Kitts and cruising Down Island to St. Lucia to explore its lush mountainous terrain and crystalline waters. The below PDF showcases a vetted charter itinerary with these destinations included.

The southern Caribbean islands of Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, the Grenadines and Grenada are exceptionally well suited for a luxury yacht charter. These unspoiled locales are primed for exploration. They offer beautiful anchorages, spectacular scenery, and idyllic cruising. Known for their soaring mountains, verdant valleys and natural rain forests, you’ll be treated to a holiday in a destination typically considered “off the beaten track.”

“This season, we have the opportunity to explore some of the more untouched Caribbean islands. The Windward Islands, which include larger islands of the Lesser Antilles, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada, offer safe, calm waters, tranquil beauty, unspoiled landscapes and all the five-star amenities expected during a luxury yacht charter,” says Captain Gary Young of Northrop & Johnson luxury charter yacht VICTORIA DEL MAR. “Luxury hotels, spas and restaurants all are on offer as are incredible shore excursions from hiking the stunning Pitons of St. Lucia, enjoying the chic, French style of Martinique, which boasts high-end boutiques and other luxury shopping, to exploring the local markets of the “Spice Island” Grenada and its Seven Sisters waterfalls. Watersports such as diving also are available in locations like Dominica, which has underwater volcanic springs at Champagne Reef. Safe, beautiful, and easily accessed from anywhere around the world, these islands ensure an unforgettable luxury yacht charter and the opportunity to experience something a little different than before.”

A variety of luxury yachts from Northrop & Johnson’s charter fleet will be available in these locales this season; we are delighted to offer these destinations to our clients. Additional locales available for the winter include The Bahamas and Mexico. Please download the below PDF in order to review sample itineraries and more.
