The Jewel of the Indian Ocean

The Seychelles chain is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean off East Africa and is among the most isolated in the world.

What better way to explore these remote pockets of paradise than by a luxury yacht charter? You will be impressed with the stunning tropical landscapes that showcase a contrast of picturesque coconut trees and robust granite rocks that have been polished by the continuous lapping waves. On your own private yacht, you are free to explore this island paradise at your own pace. Enjoy the luxury resorts and lavish spas on Mahe Island, or cruise off the beaten track, dropping anchor at uninhabited islands where you can spend the day on pristine white sand beaches all to yourself. A yacht charter in the Seychelles is the ultimate island-hopping adventure.

Often referred to as the “Jewel of the Indian Ocean”, the Seychelles showcases a rare beauty that cannot be found in any other destination. The scenic coastline is awe-inspiring and is best seen from the decks of your charter yacht. With so many islands to choose from, the Seychelles will forever leave a mark on your heart and have you yearning for more time spent ashore. These islands are diverse and showcase a rich melting pot of French, British, Indian, Middle Eastern, and African cultures with a prominent French influence.

Exploring the Heart of Seychelles: Adventure Awaits

These exotic cruising grounds are ideal for an out-of-the-ordinary charter holiday. The largest island in the archipelago, Mahé, hosts the mountain rainforests of Morne Seychellois National Park and marvelous beaches, including Beau Vallon and Anse Takamaka. If you’re interested in tapping into your adventurous side, we recommend you visit Seychelles’ two UNESCO World Heritage Sites; the Vallée de Mai on the island of Praslin is home to the rare Coco de Mer nut growing on ancient palms and many rare species of birds, and Aldabra, the world’s most remote raised coral atoll and the habitat of the Aldabra giant tortoise.

Dive into the Depths of Seychelles: A Marine Paradise

Your yacht charter to Seychelles will be filled with adventure, excitement, and plenty of surprises. You can visit both the inner and outer islands, each boasting its own unique charm. Seychelles’ 41 inner islands are home to the oldest mid-oceanic granite islands on earth, while the 74 outer islands showcase low-lying coral atolls and stunning reef islets. For the best diving in Seychelles, head to Desroches Drop. This dramatic site seamlessly merges the turquoise blue lagoon and dark waters of the Indian Ocean with a subtle drop-off to reveal mesmerizing caves and coves to explore. Saint-Anne Marine National Park is home to over 150 varieties of protected fish; as you dive down, you will be in awe at the various sizes and colors of these beautiful sea creatures.

Beyond the Blue: Luxury Amidst the Wilderness

Every touchpoint of this holiday is filled with tropical adventure and untouched landscapes. The resorts, boutiques, and fine dining seen on the inner islands add a dash of luxury to an otherwise remote destination. If you’re someone looking to go beyond the ordinary and immerse yourself in a culture like no other, a luxury yacht charter to Seychelles is a no-brainer.

La Digue Island

The picturesque La Digue Island beckons yacht charterers with its stunning beaches dotted with towering granite bourders, such as the exquisite Anse Source d’Argent, which is listed as one of the world’s best beaches. Once you’ve soaked up the sun on your beach of choice, tender ashore and explore the island by bike – the mode of transport of choice. Make sure you visit the L’Union Estate & Copra Factory, a historic coconut and vanilla plantation just south of La Passe, where you can easily spot giant tortoises, and the beautiful Veuve Reserve, one of the last refuges of the black paradise flycatcher.

Praslin Island

Praslin Island is the second largest island in the Seychelles and is home to the beautiful Praslin National Park, which includes the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve, a must-visit for nature enthusiasts. Enjoy a private guided tour of this incredible park before soaking up the sun on one of the island’s many beaches.
