My name is Stan Zhang, and I am a yacht broker with Northrop & Johnson. My office is located in vibrant Hong Kong, and I also have branches in Mainland China and Taiwan—both well-known tourist destinations and perfect transit points to other parts of Asia. Driven by my passion for the sea and yachts, I serve clients worldwide with increasing professionalism and experience, constantly providing services that exceed customer expectations.
My Past
Over the past 16 years, I have worked and traveled across different countries and cities, including New Zealand and various coastal cities in China. These diverse cultures have given me unique perspectives and feelings of both Eastern and Western cultures.
My time living in New Zealand further broadened my Western perspective and cultural understanding. “Kia ora!!” Living in New Zealand for many years, I learned about the Māori people's love for life and their cultural respect. As one of the most famous island nations in the South Pacific, the perspective on the ocean there is always unique, and it was in New Zealand that I developed a deep respect and awe for the sea. I have never wanted to conquer the ocean; I just want to understand it better.
I also spent six years in Shenzhen, China, working as a Project General Manager for a well-known real estate developer, overseeing projects across China's top-tier cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou. This managerial experience broadened my horizons and helped me gain valuable insights into China's unique business environment. However, after many years of business life, I was once again called by the sea and decided to join Hong Kong’s Nextwave Yachting, where I now serve as Sales Manager, representing several shipyards as their dealer in Southeast Asia.
My Future
I have always told myself that I don’t focus on one-time deals. Building long-term and solid relationships with clients is what I take pride in most; ensuring that my clients are never disappointed is my primary goal.

The time spent with my family is very important to me. We love traveling, We enjoy exploring different cultures and coastal countries. At the same time, I am also skilled in various sports, including fitness, rugby, and other athletic activities and cultures.
