My Present My name is Jasmine Yang, and I am a Yacht Broker at Northrop & Johnson, based in Singapore and working across the Asia region.
With roots in both Singapore and Taiwan, I bring a strong command of English and Mandarin. I also speak basic Korean, having spent time in Korea while completing my Bachelor’s degree in Business.
Exposure to multiple Asian markets and cultures has shaped me into a culturally aware professional with a practical understanding of regional business etiquette and decision-making dynamics.
I work closely with clients throughout the Asia region on the yacht sales process, placing strong emphasis on understanding client expectations, maintaining discretion, and communicating with clarity and intention at every stage.
What I enjoy most about my role is working directly with people — building rapport, practicing active listening, and recognizing that every client’s needs and priorities are different.
My Past My entry into the yachting industry came through hands-on involvement in yacht sales, business development, marketing, and regional client engagement. Over time, brokerage became a natural progression.
What distinguishes my approach is my ability to communicate comfortably across cultures and languages, allowing me to work effectively with clients and partners throughout the region. These experiences are central to how I build relationships and manage client interactions today.
My Future Yacht brokerage is a relationship-driven business, and I believe in developing trusted relationships with clients over time. True value, in my view, lies in helping clients find what is genuinely right for them.
My Outside-Office Life Outside of work, I enjoy exploring different cities, taking on new challenges, and spending time with my family and my little Maltese, Ellie.
