My Present
Hi, I’m Alexandria Olive and I’m an Executive Assistant at Northrop & Johnson. Since joining N&J in 2018, I’ve garnered ample knowledge of the industry and its trends which has helped me better assist team members across all areas of the company. I remain active in the yachting community through memberships in various organizations and am proud to serve on the Seminar committee for the Fort Lauderdale Mariners Club Marine Insurance Seminar, the largest marine seminar in the world, drawing in over 500 participants from all walks of the marine community each year before the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.
My Past
Born in Miami, FL, I grew up in the heart of the midwest in Columbia, Missouri, eventually attending school at the University of Missouri. When I moved back to FL in 2015, I couldn’t resist joining the yachting community. Yachting has always been a family business; my family owned shipyards in Jacksonville and Miami called Merrill-Stevens and my aunt pulled me into the yacht insurance business where I embraced my roots as a 6thgeneration Floridian and 4th generation licensed Florida Insurance Agent. I worked as an insurance underwriter for yachts, eventually joining N&J with its insurance program. Gradually, I ventured into the sales side and later administrative functions.
My Future
My husband and I recently move to Lake Worth, presenting the opportunity for me to relocate to Northrop & Johnson’s new office at the Safe Harbor Rybovich shipyard. I hope to continue helping everyone on the team work together to achieve their goals. I strive to be the best on a daily basis and help N&J grow bigger and better.
My Motto
To what end!
My Outside-office Life
Outside of the office, you can find me doing anything that involves being active and getting into nature. Every year I run the Key West Half Marathon, a scenic half-marathon through Key West landmarks. Any opportunity I have to travel is one I’m happy to take, especially if it involves being around my wonderful family.
