ZEMBRA 2026 46M Delta Expedition Yacht for Charter

Northrop & Johnson announces the arrival of ZEMBRA, the brand-new 152′ (46.33m) Delta expedition yacht delivered in 2026, to the charter market. Built in the American Pacific Northwest for adventure-led cruising, ZEMBRA will spend her first winter charter season cruising the Sea of Cortez, Costa Rica and Panama, with rates starting at $300,000 per week, plus expenses, before heading north to Alaska for summer 2027.

ZEMBRA enters the market with an expedition program that extends far beyond the yacht itself. A three-person U-Boat Worx submarine can descend to depths of up to 1,000 feet, taking exploration beneath the surface, while a two-seat ICON A5 amphibious aircraft is carried onboard and accompanied by a certified flight instructor, opening up an entirely different perspective from above. A custom JR Marine catamaran shadow vessel, purpose-built to carry the four-ton submarine, supports submarine operations and can beach in remote locations. Together, these capabilities create an unusually versatile platform for discovering destinations by sea, air and land.

Adventure continues closer to the water, with ZEMBRA set up for diving, fishing, hiking, watersports, wildlife encounters and scientific exploration. An onboard wet lab provides dedicated space for marine scientists and research initiatives, while a BoxFish ROV can support scientific exploration and record submarine dives. Her crew of nine includes skill sets spanning photography, marine biology and diving, adding another dimension to the yacht’s expedition-focused program.

Back onboard, ZEMBRA brings a distinctly different aesthetic to the expedition category. She accommodates 12 guests and features interiors by Roger Thomas, whose work includes Wynn properties and Steve Wynn’s personal residence. Custom cerused oak, stainless-steel accents and richly patterned carpets feature throughout, while a hand-painted mural spanning three decks was created by Roger Thomas’s daughter. Outside, Arizona bronze paint gives the yacht an immediately recognizable profile.

Her guest spaces are equally geared toward experiencing the surroundings. The sundeck features a Jacuzzi, lounging areas, and alfresco dining, while the aft sundeck touch-and-go helipad can also transform into a dance floor or space for sunrise yoga. A custom inflatable crow’s nest provides an elevated sightseeing position, and a raised platform at the bow is designed for wildlife and dolphin watching underway. ZEMBRA is also ADA-compliant, with an elevator serving all decks, no raised sills or thresholds and an accessible lower-deck stateroom.

What ultimately distinguishes ZEMBRA is how fully the yacht has been conceived around the act of exploration. The adventure does not end when she reaches an anchorage. Her submarine, seaplane, shadow vessel, wet lab and extensive watersports and exploration equipment turn each stop into a starting point, creating opportunities to investigate what lies beneath the surface, beyond the shoreline and overhead.
