Then there is the view from above. ZEMBRA carries a two-seat ICON A5 amphibious aircraft on the bridge deck aft. Its folding wings allow it to be stored onboard before a 3,500-pound SWL boom crane launches it into the water. The aircraft can take off from the sea, land on conventional runways, reach a maximum speed of 95 knots and has a range of approximately 427 nautical miles with reserve. With a certified flight instructor onboard, guests can even take the controls and log flight hours. A remote coastline, an isolated anchorage or a vast wilderness suddenly takes on an entirely different scale when seen through the aircraft’s panoramic glass canopy.

Supporting these adventures is a custom JR Marine catamaran shadow vessel purpose-built to carry the four-ton submarine. More than a means of getting ashore, it becomes a mobile base for days spent exploring away from ZEMBRA. An A-frame launch system handles the submarine, while a wide hydraulic bow ramp allows direct water access for divers. The vessel can beach in remote locations and is equipped to facilitate parasailing. It also carries scuba systems, personal watercraft and a floating dock, while solar integration supports quiet, efficient operation in remote areas. Both ZEMBRA and the JR Marine catamaran have touch-and-go helipad capability.

Adventure can be as high-octane or unhurried as the day demands. The Williams DieselJet 625 can be used for wakesurfing, wakeboarding and waterskiing, while two Jet Skis, kayaks and paddleboards provide even more ways to explore. Guests might skim across open water one morning and paddle quietly along a shoreline the next. A custom inflatable dock can turn an anchorage into a private watersports base, keeping the yacht's extensive collection of equipment close at hand. Behind the scenes, four onboard cranes, including the Nautical Structures gantry crane used to launch the submarine, allow ZEMBRA's crew to deploy the equipment that makes these experiences possible.

The crew themselves are integral to the adventure. Their skill sets include photography, marine biology and diving, with guest experiences extending to fishing, diving, watersports, guided hikes, parasailing and destination-led exploration. The result is a charter that can follow curiosity rather than a conventional itinerary: going ashore to hike, taking to the air, spending an afternoon beneath the sea or setting out by tender simply to see what lies around the next headland.

Back onboard, ZEMBRA shifts from expedition base to private retreat. Her purposeful exterior is immediately recognizable by its Arizona bronze paint, inspired by Mrs. Thomas's Aston Martin, while the decks provide spaces for both observing the world around her and recovering from a day spent immersed in it. The sundeck has a Jacuzzi, lounging areas, and alfresco dining, creating a natural gathering place between adventures. The aft sundeck touch-and-go helipad can transform into a dance floor or a space for sunrise yoga, while a custom inflatable crow's nest offers an elevated position for sightseeing. At the opposite end of the yacht, a raised platform at the bow puts guests at the edge of the action for wildlife and dolphin watching underway.

The contrast continues inside. Roger Thomas, known for his work on Wynn properties and Steve Wynn's personal residence, designed ZEMBRA's interiors, bringing a residential sensibility to a yacht conceived for far-reaching exploration. Custom cerused oak, stainless-steel accents and richly patterned carpets shape the interior, complemented by distinctive artistic details including a constellation inlay in the dining room and a hand-painted mural spanning three decks, created by Roger Thomas's daughter.

Guest accommodation has been conceived with flexibility in mind. The full-beam main-deck master has expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, keeping the surrounding landscape present even when guests retreat indoors. On the lower deck, an amidships ADA-compliant VIP stateroom has wide clearances, while two mirrored king staterooms are positioned aft. Forward, a portside fitness center can convert into additional accommodation with two Pullman berths, and the starboard convertible twin stateroom has a Pullman berth.

Accessibility is also central to the design. ZEMBRA is ADA-compliant, with an elevator serving every deck, no raised sills or thresholds to impede wheelchair movement, an ADA-compliant lower-deck stateroom and an electric wheelchair onboard. It is an approach intended to ensure that more of the group can participate in the journey rather than experience it from the sidelines.

What distinguishes a charter aboard ZEMBRA is the sheer range of ways to encounter a place. A day can begin watching the landscape emerge from the bow viewing platform, move into a flight aboard the ICON A5, continue hundreds of feet beneath the surface in the U-Boat Worx submarine, and finish in the sundeck Jacuzzi as the yacht sits at anchor. Another might revolve around diving, fishing, guided hiking, parasailing, wakeboarding or scientific exploration. The equipment is there, but so is the freedom to decide how far to take it.

Built as an expedition vessel and designed for remote cruising in Alaska and global destinations, ZEMBRA is for guests with places still left on their bucket lists and a desire to experience them differently. She turns the yacht into a gateway rather than the destination itself: a platform from which to fly higher, dive deeper, travel farther and get closer to the landscapes and wildlife that brought you there in the first place.
