Northrop & Johnson is pleased to announce a €60,000 price reduction on the 70’ (21.4m) custom sailing yacht FRIDA. Built in 2005, she is now asking €990,000, with Yacht Brokers Elizabeth Swain and Sean McCarter representing the yacht.

Built by Green Marine in the UK, with project management by X-Yachts Denmark, FRIDA is a carbon-composite sailing yacht designed for performance and comfortable cruising. Green Marine has an established background in high-performance yacht construction, having worked on several Volvo Ocean Race projects and Alex Thomson’s Hugo Boss.

FRIDA has been maintained by a full-time captain since new, with approximately €400,000 invested in maintenance and upgrades between 2021 and 2023. Work included the full reconditioning of her teak in 2022 and the installation of new electronics throughout. Her North Sails were also fully serviced in 2024.

Built with a carbon hull and deck, carbon-composite bulkheads, and reinforced keel floor structures, FRIDA benefits from lightweight yet strong construction. She has a waterline length of 61’1” (18.63m), a beam of 17’7” (5.37m), and a draft of 13’1” (4m), with a stated maximum speed of 10 knots.

The interior features teak veneers on panels covering the carbon bulkheads, with Corian countertops in the galley. The main salon serves as both a dining and lounging area. An electrically operated dining table lowers to create additional lounging space, while a pop-up television keeps the arrangement flexible.

FRIDA accommodates six guests across three guest cabins, with the aft master suite featuring a king-size bed, generous closet and drawer storage, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Two additional cabins have single berths and en-suite shower facilities. A separate crew cabin is located forward.
