L’HIPPOCAMPE Sold

Northrop & Johnson is pleased to announce the sale of the 100’ (30.48m) Nautor’s Swan sailing yacht L’HIPPOCAMPE by Yacht Broker Sean McCarter, acting on behalf of the seller. She was last asking €4,900,000. Jude & Vrojlik of JCA were also involved, with Ocean Independence representing the buyer.

Built by Nautor’s Swan in 2008, L’HIPPOCAMPE is a superb example of the shipyard’s renowned 100 Raised Saloon model. Designed for all-weather sailing and long-range cruising, she combines true world-cruising capability with the performance and handling expected from one of the most respected names in sailing.

Well maintained throughout her life, L’HIPPOCAMPE has proven herself as a capable and reliable yacht, having crossed the Atlantic several times. Equally suited to relaxed cruising or competitive sailing, she offers an exciting opportunity for owners seeking both comfort and performance.

Her raised salon is bright and welcoming, with large windows that flood the space with natural light and provide impressive views. The layout is practical and comfortable, with a dining area to starboard, a relaxed lounge to port and a forward-facing chart table positioned close to the companionway. Throughout the interior, the yacht showcases the striking teak joinery for which Nautor’s Swan is renowned.

Accommodation is for up to eight guests in four well-appointed staterooms. A standout feature is her two aft staterooms, which are almost equal in size, making the arrangement particularly well suited to shared ownership or charter use with two principal guests. Two further guest cabins complete the layout, while a professional crew of four is accommodated separately.

On deck, L’HIPPOCAMPE offers generous and practical exterior spaces. A shaded seating area aft of the salon provides an inviting setting for alfresco dining, while the fixed Bimini can be removed quickly for regatta use. Twin helm stations give excellent visibility under sail and the aft transom garage keeps the foredeck clear while doubling as a swim platform for easy access to the water.
