DESTINATION turns heads in every port with her stunning exterior lines and Dubois/Alloy Yachts pedigree. She was designed and built as a safe and seaworthy world cruiser with exceptional sailing capabilities and excellent owner and guest comfort. The yacht boasts modern features, including a sloop rig with carbon mast and roller-furling boom, six captive winches, flush deck hatches and recessed articulating anchors. DESTINATION is a prized asset given her timeless design and extraordinary condition, available immediately at a fraction of the cost it would be to build such a vessel today.
DESTINATION’s latest $4 million-plus refit, completed in December 2020, brought various renovations and upgrades including a transformed interior with the re-veneer of the upper salon/pilothouse walls, utilizing wood from the boat’s original stock, and all new headliners, flooring and soft goods throughout. The entire yacht was painted, major rig survey completed and rig upgraded, while her engine, generators and systems were refurbished, serviced or replaced as necessary. Eight-year-old decks were recently thoroughly recaulked. DESTINATION successfully completed her 20-year ABS class survey in 2021. She is in near-perfect condition courtesy of the unlimited budget and devoted attention of her two owners and one main captain that has been with DESTINATION for most of her life.
The sailing yacht’s interior is a beautiful illustration of her original design, further enhanced with modern touches. Her panoramic upper salon/pilothouse features a lounge area with a deep sofa, custom bar and a spacious dining table for eight. The influx of natural light that enters her upper salon flows down into her main salon allowing for a light and bright atmosphere. Her main salon is the dedicated lounging and socializing hub of the yacht, with a large sofa and chairs complemented by a stunning handcrafted coffee table at the center of the conversation area. The interior is finished in elegant flame Mahogany, lacquered to a high gloss finish. This is balanced beautifully with light-colored fabrics and soft textures.
Eight guests are welcome in DESTINATION’s four elegant cabins. The master suite is full-width with a king-size bed, plenty of storage and a cozy daybed area, perfect for a nap or quiet time whether for an adult or child. There are two identical staterooms forward, each with centerline queen-size beds and an additional smaller cabin with a full bed and a Pullman berth. Each stateroom onboard is accompanied by an en-suite bathroom.
DESTINATION’s cockpit is accessed from the aft deck between the two steering stations. To one side is a large lounging sofa and to the other a settee and chairs surround a large table, perfect for alfresco dining. A Bimini covers the cockpit and fold-up clear curtains allow the breeze when desired and can be pulled down to protect from inclement weather. A built-in passerelle and an opening transom with a shower and dimmable lighting, provide a platform for tender and water access. One of DESTINATON’s most unique and notable features is her completely custom second boarding platform to starboard midships. Part of the hull swings down to provide a safe and stable platform for tender access or watersports.
