Ulysse Nardin honored Veteran’s Day with the release of a new limited-edition Diver Chronometer 44m OMW. The timepiece is the second iteration commemorating the partnership between the Swiss watchmaker and the veteran’s non-profit organization One More Wave.

Veteran surfing with custom leg equipment

Ulysse Nardin first partnered with One More Wave in 2019, when they released the Diver Deep Dive OMW. Both partners have maritime roots, Ulysse Nardin having a historic connection to U.S. military and One More Wave being a San Diego-based organization that makes custom surfboards for disabled veterans. By working hand-in-hand with master surfboard shapers and artists, One More Wave can adapt a board to suit pretty much any physical challenge. Their mission to help veterans through ocean therapy resonated strongly with Ulysse Nardin.

The limited-edition Diver Chronometer OMW was designed by members of One More Wave, including founder a retired Navy SEAL Alex West. Water resistant to 300 meters, it features teal and gray highlights that echo One More Wave’s logo. The black dial and DLC titanium 44mm case with turquoise accents, while the One More Wave trident logo – also black and turquoise – sits at the center of the watch’s sapphire crystal display back. Limited to 100 pieces, the Diver Chronometer 44mm One More Wave is available now at ulysse-nardin.com.
