CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL WRAP-UP

Held in the Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto, the extraordinary event had 300,000-square meters of exhibition space hosting more than 600 yachts. Northrop & Johnson was on hand with three exceptional yachts on display: the 112-foot (34.13m) Ferretti motor yacht INTIMIS, the 111-foot (33.88m) Canados motor yacht OVERDSIDE II and the 81-foot (24.78m) Bering Yachts explorer yacht VEDA. Northrop & Johnson also had a number of yachts available near the show for easy viewing.

Despite some blustery early fall winds in the South of France, the sun was shining and Northrop & Johnson enjoyed six successful days at the show with brokers and owners very pleased with the turnout as the yachts remained busy with a strong presence of qualified buyers.

The annual Cannes show is just the first in the fall show lineup; its followed quickly by the Monaco Yacht Show and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Northrop & Johnson will be in attendance at both shows and will have exceptional arrays of yachts for inspection.
