Toy Box: The Inside Track - Alfa Nero

Foil boards, wakeboards, flyboards, electric jetboards, and paddleboards are part of the arsenal of fun water toys that you will find in the toy box on board ALFA NERO. Navigator talks to her crewmembers on their favorite picks.

Lift eFoil

Deckhand (and thrill seeker) Katiana Servier also acts as a watersports instructor on board ALFA NERO. Among Kat’s favorite water toys is the Lift eFoil. “The thrill of riding over the water is like flying,” says Kat. “It takes a few plunges to master, but once you work out how to use weight and balance to bring the board out of the water, then the handheld remote controls the speed for a smooth ride.”

Wakeboard

“Imagine carving through the water, not just riding but dancing on its surface? That’s what a wakeboard does,” says Nicole Terry, Charter Manager. “The fantastic crew are always happy to teach guests to glide, carve, and even perform aerial tricks while they tow them using ALFA NERO’s Novurania jet tender. It’s a thrilling mix of balance, precision, and pure adrenaline.”

Towable Toys

“ALFA NERO’s toy box is packed with towable toys for all abilities,” says Deckhand Villum Rasmussen. “We have guests speeding across waves on a single-rider tube, sharing laughs with friends on a multi-rider towable, or chasing adrenaline on an extreme design – there’s something for everyone.”

Jetboard

As an avid surfer, Second Officer Rochelle Stebbing craves the waves that lap the shores of her native South Africa. While cruising in calm waters, guests can still catch the thrill of riding by hopping on one of the two jetboards found in ALFA NERO’s toy box.

“Built around an electric jetpack and controlled by a handheld remote, the TKO Type-001 Jetboard is ideal for both beginners and advanced riders alike,” says Rochelle. “Using a remote with varying speeds, lie flat on the board and start with some speed to get going, then move forward up the board on your knees until you are comfortable to stand up. Surf’s up!”

The 266’8” (81.27m) ALFA NERO is available to charter this summer in the Mediterranean for prices from €812,500 per week, plus expenses, for up to 12 guests.
