ZEELANDER YACHTS UNVEILS THEIR LARGEST YACHT TO DATE

Posted February 15, 2019 in Brokerage & New Build by Janine St.Denis

The Zeelander shipyard is renowned for its retro-style sports cruisers built to the very highest standards, but the Z72 is something beyond that. The Z72 is a new interpretation of Zeelander’s iconic range of yachts. It’s an evolution of timeless design. With its S-shaped deckline, wider stern and even more curved surfaces it is crafted for connoisseurs who know what it takes to create the very best.

Able to reach a top speed of 40 knots, this yacht majestically soars through the seas in supreme comfort. The hull has been completely redesigned to provide an even smoother ride, but her 680-nautical-mile range is not to be forgotten — any destination is just a breeze away for this triple Volvo IPS 1350-driven motor yacht.

Zeelander is a semi-custom builder, which means each yacht can be personalized to reflect the buyer’s dreams. The materials used to build the interiors are chosen exclusively by the owner. As opposed to the Z44 and Z55, the Z72 utilized new building methods that allow for even more bespoke options. Layouts, features, anything you can imagine is up for discussion and is limited only by your imagination.

The first owner of this Z72 chose a convertible aft seating area, including a large sunbed that transforms into a couch to accommodate alfresco dining and a bar area with a glass-sliding window to close off the helm. A unique feature is Zeelander’s recognizable transom that opens up to a 100-square-foot swimming platform. It has been designed to fit a South of France-style beach cabana.

The first Zeelander Z72 will launch in early 2019 and will debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show.
