The 2024 MYBA Charter Show is scheduled to take place from April 22nd to the 25th in Marina Volo Vecchio, Genoa, Italy, with organizers promising an enriched social agenda and an innovative setup.

Now in its 34th year, the MYBA Charter Show is born from the re-imagined Barcelona International Boat Show, offering the perfect balance between business and celebration. By Air

Genoa International Airport is less than 10 km from Marina Molo Vecchio and is a dedicated hub for helicopters and private flights. Convenient taxi and transfer services are available to/from the marina and the city center.

By Rail

Marina Molo Vecchio is ideally situated just 2 km from Piazza Principe and 3 km from Brignole, Genoa’s central railway station. Regular train connections with the French Riviera, Milan, and other major Italian cities are available.

By Road

Genoa Ovest, the nearest motorway exit to Marina Molo Vecchio, provides easy access to the marina via the Sopraelevata. Numerous parking options are available nearby, and MYBA Charter Show attendees enjoy a 30% discount on parking fees at designated car parks.

By Yacht

When planning your arrival in Genoa, please consider the following:

  • Yachts exceeding 300 GRT must appoint a local ship agent in advance to accomplish mandatory pre-arrival formalities.
  • Yachts exceeding 500 GRT are required to have a Pilot on board and Port mooring assistance.
  • Sailing yachts with a draft of more than 60 meters must inform Marina Molo Vecchio to facilitate their entry.

Upon arrival, observe these procedures:

  • Call Genoa Port Pilots on VHF channel 12 one hour before entering the Port.
  • While nearing the Port Area, call Genoa Traffic on VHF 11 and stand by on VHF 16.
  • Once inside the Port, contact Marina Molo Vecchio on VHF channel 71.
  • Dock assistance is available through Marina Molo Vecchio dock attendants on VHF channel 71. They are ready to assist during mooring maneuvers, provide ground lines from dinghies, take stern lines from the dock, and offer water, shore power, and internet connections.
