California Dreaming | Santa Barbara to Newport Beach

Welcome aboard at Santa Barbara on the mainland. Enjoy a light lunch during a one-to-two-hour cruise to Santa Cruz Island. Anchor at either Prisoners Anchorage or Smuggler’s Cove.

Breakfast on board. Kayak in the Painted Caves – professionally guided tours into one of the largest sea caves in the world. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch.

Cool off by snorkeling in the kelp forests at Scorpion Anchorage and spot Garibaldi, the California state fish or schools of opal eye or bat rays.

Enjoy breakfast while underway. Arrive at Two Harbors, Catalina, for snorkeling and lunch. In the mid-afternoon pull up anchor and cruise toward Avalon, passing the iconic Avalon Casino and Theatre. Moor or anchor at Avalon for the night. Enjoy a sunset golf cart ride (only island transport) to Wrigley Mansion where you can enjoy cocktails and unsurpassed views of Avalon harbor and the California coastline.

After breakfast, cruise to Newport Beach. Arrive and dock in Newport Beach and enjoy the club amenities at the Balboa Bay Club. Enjoy dinner aboard and a reserved trip to local hot spots for dancing the night away in “The OC.”

Enjoy one last breakfast aboard before disembarking at noon.
