Josh Burdett

My Present

Hello, my name is Josh Burdett and I have been a Charter Broker for over 15 years. I enjoy creating lasting relationships with my clients, built on dependability and a desire to ensure the best charter experiences possible. There is always a serious side to the job, but the end goal is about creating a unique, memorable and special experience that will be a lot of fun for families and friends. It's so rewarding to be a part of that process.

My Past

I am British but was born in the Middle East and have moved around considerably both as a child and an adult. Travel and exploring new cultures seem to have always been part of my life, so maybe there was some inevitability to working in the travel industry. I sailed while at university and discovered yachting, then worked for some time as a deckhand on super yachts before moving back to London to start my career with Camper & Nicholsons. In the intervening period, I have assisted many clients from all around the world with their diverse charter requests, always with the same aim of making it the experience of a lifetime.

My future

I have recently joined Northrop & Johnson so a new and exciting chapter is just beginning for me. I look forward to continuing to learn while bringing my experience to this new position, to continuing to listen to and work closely with my clients, and to help their charter ideas and desires become a reality.

My Outside-office Life

Time off can be limited so I like to stay connected with friends and family and enjoy time together. I am also passionate about film and TV so like to unwind with a great show or film.

Fast facts
-As much as I love the sea, when I travel I love a road trip either by car or motorbike
-I speak French and am working on improving my Spanish
