Bonjour! I am Severine Charlet, the Global Marketing Director at Northrop & Johnson. In my capacity, I am responsible for leading the development of all marketing divisions, with a primary focus on driving growth, increasing brand awareness, executing both online and offline marketing campaigns and establishing the core marketing strategy to achieve the company’s objectives. My goal is to infuse fresh perspectives and innovative ideas into business operations, leveraging my experience in various sectors of the luxury industry. I believe this approach will help to unlock new growth opportunities and drive the business forward.
Born and raised in France, I relocated to the US in 2014. I am a recognized marketing and sales strategist with more than 15 years of experience in the luxury industry, specifically in cosmetics, fragrances and Swiss luxury watches. For the past three years at Ulysse Nardin, as Communications and Marketing Director Americas, I successfully grew brand awareness and business by implementing effective brand strategies and customized marketing plans. Through UN’s brand partnership, I met the Northrop & Johnson family in 2020, fell in love with the team and started developing an interest in the company and the yachting industry.
Throughout my career, I have held positions at renowned luxury groups such as Kering, LVMH, Clarins and Shiseido. I have managed prominent brands for local and travel retail markets (Canada, USA, Latin America, Middle East, Europe & Asia). My extensive experience in both marketing and commercial roles has allowed me to thrive in the fast-paced international work environment. I benefit from cross-cultural expertise, strategic planning skills and a track record of executing best-in-class marketing initiatives. I have always been driven by leading and empowering teams to deliver innovative and impactful results.
In addition to my professional background, I hold a master’s degree in International Business, specialization luxury brand management, from the INSEEC Business School in Paris, France.
