My Present

Hi! I’m Jodi Skougor, Head of Events and Public Relations. I’m a dynamic professional who brings boundless enthusiasm to the team. Thrilled beyond measure to join, I have a passion for creating impactful experiences and building strong relationships.

In this exciting role, I will be responsible for orchestrating and executing a wide array of events. Additionally, I will be spearheading strategic public relations initiatives to amplify our brand visibility and reach and maintain our position as the industry leader.

I'm delighted to embark on this journey with such a prestigious organization, and I cannot wait to work alongside such a talented team to create unforgettable experiences for our clients and partners.

My Past

As a proud native Floridian, my life has been filled with diverse experiences in the Sunshine State. I’ve had the pleasure of living in various cities throughout my life. The love I have for South Florida runs deep, and my roots are firmly planted here.

I have 25 years of extensive experience in luxury 360° marketing, experiential events, and public relations. With a career highlighted at the esteemed luxury group Kering & Ulysse Nardin, my expertise shines through. For thirteen years, I excelled as the Senior Marketing Manager at Ulysse Nardin, where I skillfully elevated brand awareness through the adept execution of effective brand strategies, tailored 360° coop marketing plans, and meticulously curated luxurious experiential events. I strive for excellence and an unwavering dedication to fostering brand growth!

In 2020, I had the opportunity to connect with the Northrop & Johnson family through UN’s brand partnership and I was truly impressed by the team and company. 

My Future

Stepping into the yachting industry, I am eager to embark on this exhilarating journey. 

I am excited to orchestrate unforgettable events and implement strategic public relations initiatives. I aim to enhance brand visibility, strengthen relationships and drive substantial growth for the organization through innovative event concepts, creative PR campaigns, and seamless execution. 

My Outside-Office Life

When not at work, my world revolves around my husband and our beautiful Dogo Argentino, Tula, whom we rescued six years ago. We cherish every moment spent together: going to the beach, park to watch the sunset or going out for date night. 

In my spare time, I volunteer and lend my marketing expertise to Tula’s rescue. Dcdogos.org is a 501c3 nonprofit (breed-specific rescue) dedicated to saving Dogo Argentinos. For the past five years it has been my mission to help raise brand awareness for this majestic breed, attract potential donors/volunteers, and promote the adoptions. I develop marketing campaigns, create social media content, grow social media followers, develop strategic partnerships, collaborate with partners, fundraising, pet expos, exclusive events and more!
