My Present Hi there, my name is Sara Schuerfeld and I am the Charter Marketing Coordinator at Northrop & Johnson. In my role, I’m excited to combine my hospitality background and yachting experience to contribute to our team’s charter success. I feel fortunate to be part of the N&J family and look forward to continuing my growth within this vibrant industry.
My Past I’m originally from a small wine country town in California, just 30 minutes from the beach, where I discovered my love for hospitality and service early on. I began my hospitality career at the age of 15, working my way up to fine dining and tasting rooms in Napa. Those experiences helped me build a strong foundation rooted in attention to detail, client care, and teamwork.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, I made a bold transition to Florida to pursue my STCW certification and enter the yachting world. I quickly advanced to Chief Stewardess and spent nearly four years aboard yachts, gaining firsthand experience delivering exceptional guest experiences at sea. That journey deepened my passion for the charter industry and ultimately inspired me to transition ashore to support clients and owners from a new perspective.

My Outside-Office Life Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, friends, and my dog Meena, exploring the ocean however I can—jet skiing, diving, boating, or simply floating on the water. Adventure always calls my name, and when I have the time, I answer it
