Position Summary

This position is responsible for developing a portfolio of charter clients and providing seven-star quality of service to ensure repeat business and optimum client satisfaction.

He/she will work closely with the Commercial Director N.A. in developing business goals and targets for strategic growth, while also ensuring seamless promotion of N&J’s charter retail services to prospective clients.

Areas of Responsibility

Charter Retail Sales:

  • Respond to client enquiries and requests
  • Generate personal charter sales according to set targets
  • Develop & grow personal client book and expand conversion rate for bookings in order to grow the business
  • Assist other N&J Charter Retail Brokers in the development + expansion of their book of business
  • Provide fast & effective service and ensure seven-star service for our clients
  • Assist in constantly upgrading, improving and streamlining the department
  • Develop relationships with N&J’s other business divisions to maximize internal business potential

Difficulties & constraints of the position:

The candidate will work closely with a global client base, potentially in different time zones and needs to be available 24/7 to deal with enquiries and requests.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a luxury yacht charter broker
  • In-depth knowledge of the superyacht market and fleet of charter yachts
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry, rules, regulations, standard business practices and ethics
  • In-depth knowledge of onboard operations of charter yachts
  • Good knowledge of cruising grounds and general geography of popular destinations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to work well with others and to contribute to a team environment
  • Desire to lead/manage a high energy, intelligent group
  • Familiarity with MS Office is required
