Northrop & Johnson is delighted to announce the sale of the 97′ (25.95m) Jongert sailing yacht SCARENA by Yacht Broker Sean McCarter, acting on behalf of the buyer and seller. She was sold in under five months and was last asking €1,600,000.

SCARENA is a testament to Dutch craftsmanship, offering fast, comfortable and versatile cruising as a Jongert 2900M model. Her design integrates safety, economy and luxury. As one of only five 2900M models crafted by Jongert, SCARENA holds a unique position as the sole four-cabin model in this range, featuring an additional en-suite twin cabin in the main saloon.

Meticulously maintained under the guidance of an experienced captain for six years, she offers a blend of speed, safety and comfort, suitable for global navigation or upscale Mediterranean charters. Equipped with a unique mechanical steering system, SCARENA offers a responsive helm feel while sailing, ensuring an exceptional cruising experience.

Designed through a collaborative effort between naval architect Doug Peterson and interior designer Peter Sijm, SCARENA’s interior exudes warmth and sophistication, featuring specially selected pear wood throughout. Benefitting from two substantial refits, including a recent five-year survey, rig service, and paint, she remains in impeccable condition. Upgrades to the galley, such as Corian countertops, a Miele induction hob, and new flooring, enhance onboard comfort and functionality.

Accommodating up to eight guests, SCARENA offers four generous guest cabins and a well-appointed crew area. The aft master cabin suite provides a sanctuary of comfort, complete with ample storage and a small study. Twin en-suite cabins and a unique guest twin cabin on the starboard side of the saloon set her apart from her counterparts.

SCARENA’s exterior decks offer practicality and timeless elegance, providing comfort and protection for guests. With an enormous bathing platform facilitating seamless water access for swimmers and divers, enjoying water toys off the stern is effortless. The foredeck is home to the Novurania 4.5m rib with a Yamaha 50Hp outboard, ensuring convenient tender boarding.
