Inspired by naval vessels and the agility of mako sharks, this compact explorer features a military-style profile, steel hull and true transoceanic range. Built for those seeking autonomy and adventure, PROJECT MAKO SHARK is designed to thrive in all sea conditions. With a 1.8m draft and 7.63m beam, she’s as comfortable exploring shallow cruising grounds as she is crossing oceans. Her twin Cummins X15 heavy-duty engines deliver efficient cruising at 11 knots, with an impressive maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 8 knots.

PROJECT MAKO SHARK was designed by the award-winning Rıza Tansu in collaboration with boutique builder Tufan and Yachting Co., who handled naval architecture. The result is a bold, functional yacht that blends performance with intelligent layout and livability. She accommodates 10 guests across five cabins, including a full-beam main deck master with office and rain shower. Below deck are two VIP doubles, a twin, and a convertible double/twin, each with en-suite and high-end finishes.

The yacht offers two layout options: a fully crew-operated version with captain’s cabin and helm on the upper deck, or an owner-operated version with a private sky lounge. Exterior spaces are generous for her size, including an aft deck dining area for eight, a foredeck lounge that converts to a sunbed, and a versatile upper deck with sunbeds, helm, or sky lounge depending on configuration.
