MYSTERY 63’ (19.2m) Lyman-Morse Yacht for Sale
Northrop & Johnson announces the addition of MYSTERY, the 63′ (19.2m) sailing yacht built by Lyman-Morse in 2001 to a Hood/Fontaine design, to its sales fleet. She is offered through Northrop & Johnson Yacht Broker Brian Commette for $1,495,000.
MYSTERY was commissioned with an emphasis on selecting the best available gear and equipment, with an interior fit and finish comparable to yachts from leading Northern European shipyards. That attention to specification extends to her construction and sailing setup. MYSTERY’s hull was molded using epoxy, SCRIMP and Core-Cell, producing a lightweight and rigid composite structure. Further weight reduction was achieved with a GMT carbon-fiber mast and boom. Sail handling utilizes power winches, reducing the need for crew. Centerboard-up draft is a versatile 6’7″, while the 13’7″ board-down draft greatly enhances lift while upwind.
Below deck, a three-stateroom arrangement positions two guest cabins forward and the full-beam owner’s quarters aft. Her raised salon, mid-cockpit configuration incorporates large salon windows for natural light and visibility, with the salon also able to serve as a protected watchkeeping position in poor weather.
Maintained to a high standard with impeccable service and maintenance records, MYSTERY combines Lyman-Morse quality, Hood/Fontaine design, composite construction and a high-quality sailing specification.
