MYSTERY is an exceedingly graceful, 63' Hood/Fontaine design, built at Lyman-Morse in Maine. The centerboard-equipped, Delta shaped hull offers 6'7" draft when raised and 13'7" when lowered, giving her the ability to operate in shoal-draft cruising grounds like the Bahamas while retaining proven sailing and upwind performance.

Quality construction was a significant part of MYSTERY's original specification. Hull was molded using epoxy, SCRIMP and Core-Cell, resulting in a lightweight and notably rigid composite structure. She is also equipped with a GMT carbon-fiber mast and boom. Push-button sail controls allow short-handed cruising. Gear and equipment of the highest quality was specified during the build, and particular attention was given to the standard of interior joinery and finish.

MYSTERY has a raised-salon configuration with the cockpit positioned amidships. The accommodations place the two guest cabins forward, creating separation from the full-beam owner's quarters aft. Throughout the interior, the layout provides comfortable headroom and seating, practical berth dimensions, usable storage, well-proportioned doorways and strategically positioned handholds.

Large windows around the raised salon allow natural light into the interior while providing good visibility. The raised salon may serve as a comfortable watchkeeping station during inclement weather. Her exterior profile is so perfectly proportioned that it is difficult to determine her length overall.

MYSTERY has been maintained to the highest standards, with conscientious service and maintenance records. Her combination of Epoxy/Core-Cell composite construction, centerboard configuration, carbon-fiber rig, powered sail handling and three-stateroom layout provides an ideal platform for performance cruising under sail.
