Northrop & Johnson is pleased to announce the 27m (88’10”) Oyster 885 sailing yacht KARIBU is now for sale with Yacht Broker Ed Dickinson. Delivered in 2013 and designed by Rob Humphreys, she is the second hull in the Oyster 885 series and is asking €5,100,000. KARIBU is presented in immaculate condition following a comprehensive €2M+ refit completed in 2022.

KARIBU is a capable offshore cruiser with a strong charter history and commercial compliance under MCA Cat 2. Her 2022 refit covered all major technical and cosmetic elements, including a new Future Fibres EC6 carbon rig, a freshly painted Teale Blue hull, new interior upholstery, a full IT/AV upgrade, and a new 4.35m Williams jet tender. The Hall Spars carbon mast and boom were fully serviced as part of the programme, ensuring she’s technically ready for long-range use. Her sail plan has been all replaced through 2024 and 2025, ensuring KARIBU maintains optimal performance.

The yacht offers a charter-friendly layout with accommodation for eight guests in four cabins, including a master suite aft with Oyster’s signature triple Seascape windows. Two twins and one double complete the guest layout. Crew are accommodated in two forward cabins, with the option to configure the captain’s cabin as a double or twin.

Her exterior features include a split cockpit for safe, functional sailing and entertaining, a large hydraulic swim platform aft, and a foredeck tender well that transforms into a sunken lounge with bright cushions and a sun pad.

Inside, the raised main saloon benefits from wraparound windows and a flexible dining/lounge arrangement. The interior was redesigned by Design Unlimited in 2022 and features bespoke timber furniture, a custom bar with wine fridge and ice maker, and a relaxed, contemporary aesthetic.
