95’ (29m) Jongert LA JOIE DE MER Sold

Northrop & Johnson is pleased to announce the sale of LA JOIE DE MER, with yacht broker Ann Avery representing the seller. The 95’2″ (29m) Jongert sailing yacht was last asking $1,995,000.

LA JOIE DE MER, or “Joy of the Sea,” was built in 2005 by Jongert and penned by naval architect Tony Castro. Over the years, she received several notable upgrades. Keel modifications completed in 2008 and 2011 improved sailing performance, particularly in lighter winds. Her sailing inventory included a custom carbon Hall Spars mast and North 3DI sails, and her five-year rig survey and service were completed in 2023. She also benefited from a full hull and superstructure repaint in 2022.

Onboard, an enclosed deck saloon with opening windows and an interior helm station provides excellent visibility and protection underway, while the interior showcases rich honey-colored teak throughout. A large skylight over the lower saloon brings abundant natural light into the main living spaces, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere for owners and guests. Her practical deck layout, including a submarine anchor system that keeps the foredeck clear and an aft tender garage, balances functionality with ease of use.

Accommodations include a master stateroom with a queen berth, a VIP stateroom with a double berth and Pullman, and a twin guest cabin, all with en-suite facilities. Additional crew accommodations support extended cruising programs and owner operation alike.
