Northrop & Johnson is pleased to announce that the 91’ (27.7m) yawl BEQUIA is now listed for sale with yacht broker Brian Fisher. Built in 2009 by Brooklin Boat Yard in Maine, BEQUIA is offered at $2,850,000 and is currently lying in Newport, Rhode Island.

A proven world cruiser with an impressive regatta-winning pedigree, BEQUIA was custom-designed by Stephens Waring Yacht Design and constructed using cold-molded Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, and Sipo Mahogany, reinforced with biaxial fiberglass and West System epoxy. Her high-performance sailing platform features Southern Spars carbon masts, Future Fibers EC6 standing rigging (serviced 2025), and in-boom furling on both masts, making her exceptionally capable and easily managed.

In fall 2025, BEQUIA underwent a substantial round of service, including new batteries, updated air conditioning systems, reupholstered interior furnishings, and a full rig service with ultrasonic NDT inspection, further enhancing her turnkey condition.

BEQUIA’s warm, wood-accented interior includes a full-beam owner’s stateroom aft, two guest cabins, and a classic pilothouse offering panoramic views. Lifestyle features include a hydraulic side boarding/swim platform, concealed anchor system, Novurania tender, dive gear, and folding bikes for shore exploration.
