Northrop & Johnson Captains Spring Golf Tournament – A Standout Day at Jacaranda

On Friday, March 6th, Northrop & Johnson hosted our first annual Captains Spring Golf Tournament at Jacaranda Golf Club, and the day was an undeniable success. With beautiful South Florida weather and a fantastic turnout of captains and industry partners, the tournament delivered the perfect mix of competition, camaraderie, and connection.

This memorable event was made possible through the generous support of our sponsors. Chopin enhanced the experience with expertly crafted cocktails served on the course and during the reception. Starboard Card ensured players were well-equipped to handle the Florida sunshine with much-needed sun protection. Global Marine Travel impressed everyone with a delicious Italian sandwich station that kept golfers fueled between holes. Afficionado provided smooth cold brew coffee, giving players the energy boost they needed throughout the afternoon.

Newcoast added an exciting layer of competition with a lively putting challenge, while American Nautical Services connected with captains to share insights into their trusted navigation charts and maritime resources. To close out the day in style, Macallan generously supplied the prizes for the winning team, adding a premium touch to the celebration.

Congratulations to our 1st place winners — Peter Bronkie, Adrian Voorster, Travis Inman, and Rob Glassman — who delivered an outstanding performance on the course. The team took home the championship trophy along with a bottle of Macallan 12, a well-deserved reward for a fantastic round of golf.
