Daniel Wade is a 30-year veteran in travel, partnership marketing and luxury lifestyle media with significant expertise in consumer and B2B media, brand positioning, sales development and creative lifestyle partnerships with global leaders in travel/hospitality, yachting, private jet, and the luxury goods sectors.
In 2001, he co-founded Elite Traveler pioneering audited magazine distribution on private jets targeting wealthy consumers around the globe. As President and Publisher, he built Elite Traveler's multimedia platforms, including Elitetraveler.com and Elite Traveler TV. The group attracted a blue-chip list of marketing partners including BMW, Cartier, Chanel, Four Seasons, Gucci, Jaguar, Louis Vuitton, Merrill Lynch, Mandarin Oriental, Mercedes-Benz, NetJets, One & Only Resorts, Patron, Porsche, Ritz-Carlton, Rover, Tiffany and Ulysse Nardin.
Prior to starting Elite Traveler, Daniel was Executive Associate Publisher of Travel Agent Magazine; he was responsible for worldwide sales and led the publication to top 10 rankings by Advertising Age for ad pages run. He also developed and sold integrated travel agent training and educational programs, and helped create Travel Agent University, the first online training portal for travel retailers.
Daniel also was on the "bleeding-edge" during one of the most disruptive periods in the travel industry as a pioneer in the online travel arena with Preview Travel (Travelocity) and, before that, served in senior positions with Certified Vacations and Delta Air Lines Vacations.
An expert in sales and marketing to ultra-high net worth (UHNW) consumers, Daniel has been a speaker at global tourism, real estate development, private aviation and yachting industry conferences.
Doug Gollan has 30 years of experience in luxury goods, services and media, specifically target to UHNW consumers. He was co-founder of multi-award winning magazine Elite Traveler in 2001, the first private jet magazine to have its circulation audited; at Elite Traveler, Doug served as Group President and Editor in Chief. He is co-author of the 2007 book "The Sky's The Limit: Marketing to the New Jet Set," which is based on more than 600 interviews with private jet owners. Doug now is completing his next book, "Sales Superstars of Luxury," which is based on interviews with top sellers of luxury to the super rich. Doug also is the Founder an Editor in Chief of DG Amazing Experiences, a weekly e-newsletter with a global reach of more than 15,000 private jet owners.
Together, Daniel and Doug have more than 60 years of combined experience in the luxury sector. Their vast networks of clients and colleagues will greatly benefit them in their new roles with Northrop & Johnson.
