Northrop and Johnson had a strong presence at the show; all Northrop & Johnson yachts on display consistently received positive attention from serious buyers. These yachts included the 140-foot (42.67m) Hoek/Vitters luxury sailing yacht APHRODITE A, the 100-foot (30m) HJB/Hoek luxury sailing yacht SKIPPER, the 92-foot (28m) Vitters/Sparkman & Stephens luxury sailing yacht CARMELLA, the 88-foot (27m) Jongert luxury sailing yacht ICARUS, 84-foot (25.5m) Aluboot sailing yacht HEIDENSKIP and the 80-foot (24.38m) Kanter sailing yacht FRUITION.

“The Palma Superyacht Show, despite still being in only its fourth year, was again a great success,” said Northrop & Johnson Palma Managing Director Simon J. Turner. “It is slowly growing in size and popularity — not only in the number of visitors but also with regard to the number of yachts on display and the on shore exhibitors. Combined with the Palma Boat Show, which also takes place during the May 1 holiday weekend, these events are held during an important time in the industry calendar year. There is no doubt that the show is unique in having an excellent selection of sailing yachts on display for sale and charter. More than half of the yachts in attendance were sailing yachts. This certainly is an event you will want to include in your 2017 diary.”
