But before the show started, on Monday, September 21, Northrop & Johnson invited our captains to join us for our annual Captains’ dinner at Beefbar in Monaco. Thirty captains joined Northrop & Johnson for an evening of delicious food and lively networking before the madness of the show began.

On Wednesday, Northrop & Johnson VIP clients arrived at the yacht show in style thanks to a car service courtesy of Northrop & Johnson Global Luxury Partner Aston Martin. Once inside, they visited Northrop & Johnson’s stand located at QE4. Global Luxury Partner Arnold & Son provided an array of stunning timepieces for visitors to inspect both at the Northrop & Johnson stand and on board the impressive motor yacht LADY DUVERA. Also in the show, luxury motor yachts BARTENDER and ONLY ONE welcomed potential buyers yielding rave reviews.

Northrop & Johnson also had several yachts anchored out; these included the 196-foot (59.80m) Marin LuxurYachts sailing yacht GERMANIA NOVA, the 158-foot (48.2m) CRN superyacht KANALOA, the 150-foot (45.7m) Palmer Johnson motor yacht ONENESS, the 153-foot (46.63m) Feadship motor yacht CHARISMA, the 144-foot (44m) Baglietto motor yacht APACHE II, the 100-foot (30.45m) Wally sailing yacht DARK SHADOW and the 110-foot (33.5m) Dykstra classic sloop ANNAGINE. Northrop & Johnson clients were able to access these yachts thanks to tender services provided by Novamarine and Dipiù. Northrop & Johnson sponsors Venica & Venica provided wine and Moët & Chandon provided champagne. In addition, Moët & Chandon presented 24 bottles of MCIII, the cuvée de prestige. Only 100 bottles of this esteemed champagne were produced this year. It is posible to order them by invitation only here. SOEE Soundesign provided music through its exceptional speakers.

On Thursday, September 24, Northrop & Johnson hosted clients on board the luxury motor yacht BARTENDER for an evening of champagne (provided by Moët & Chandon), wine (provided by Venica & Venica) and canapés. Global Luxury Partners Arnold & Son and Aston Martin and sponsors ABN AMRO, Dipiù and Palazzo Del Sol helped make the evening a success. Aston Martin brought along an eye-catching model of its new Vulcan and Chief Creative Officer and Design Director Marek Reichman gave a rousing speech about this impressive automobile, as well as the new relationship between Aston Martin and Northrop & Johnson.

On Friday, September 25, Northrop & Johnson clients headed for the picturesque Beaulieu sur Mer to test drive Aston Martin’s Rapide S (16 MY) and Vanquish Coupe (15 MY). Clients fulfilled their needs for speed by racing Aston Martin’s excellent models around the bends of the beautiful Beaulieu sur Mer. In the evening, the excellent crew of luxury motor yacht LADY DUVERA welcomed Northrop & Johnson, Global Luxury Partners Aston Martin and Arnold & Son and sponsors SOEE Soundesign and Christophe Harbour for an entertaining evening of champagne (provided by Moët & Chandon) and wine (provided by Venica & Venica). The chef of LADY DUVERA created delectable nibbles for guests to enjoy while dancing to the superb sounds of local favorites the Drama Queens.

As all of the yachts in Port Hecule blew their horns at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, the show had come to an end for another year. But the 25th edition of the Monaco Yacht show was busy and bustling and certainly an exciting end to the 2015 Mediterranean summer season. As the yachts head across the Pond, we look forward to November when we’ll all meet again in Fort Lauderdale.
