There’s plenty in the world of travel to get excited about right now. If you are currently planning your summer getaway, make sure these newcomers are on your radar.
Stockholm Stadshotell, Sweden
The hottest opening in Sweden this year is the Stockholm Stadshotell. Housed within a regal landmark – a 19th-century building erected in memory of King Oscar I – the property has been transformed into a boutique hotel, with 32 rooms and suites, a spa, and two restaurants. The traditional Scandinavian design and interiors embrace the stately original features of the property, while bringing a minimalist, chic, New-Nordic design. stockholmstadshotell.com
Amanvari, Mexico
Amanvari – which derives its name from the Sanskrit words for “peace” and “water” – is the newest property from the iconic Aman hotel chain, and the first Aman property in Mexico. Located between the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range and the Sea of Cortéz, the retreat features 20 secluded, bi-level pavilions on a private stretch of beach. Each pavilion has its own wraparound sundeck terrace, and some with cantilevered pools. The hub of the hotel has three restaurants, a 100’ infinity pool with four hot tubs, and a library – all very Aman. aman.com
Soho Farmhouse, Ibiza
Soho Farmhouse Ibiza will be bringing the brand’s signature experience to the White Island this summer. Housed in the former site of Cas Gasi, the large farmhouse and working olive grove of more than nine acres features 18 bedrooms, including separate villas, a gym, yoga deck and treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, and an organic kitchen garden restaurant and bar offering farm-to-table dining. sohohouse.com

The Moore Miami is a new luxury boutique hotel in the city’s Vibrant Miami Design District. The intimate 13-bedroom hotel is part of a destination venue comprising a private members’ club, a collection of restaurants, upscale shopping, and galleries, all housed in the city’s iconic neoclassical-style Moore Building. The property, which began life on a pineapple plantation, has been designed around a huge Zaha Hadid installation, with swooping curves and chic Art Deco interiors. Romègas Hotel, Valletta, Malta
Offering discerning travelers an unparalleled blend of historic charm and modern sophistication, the Romègas Hotel is one of Malta’s most anticipated openings. Located in Valletta’s old town, the 500-year-old palazzo, originally built for a distinguished Knight of Malta, has been reimagined into a boutique hotel that stands as a testament to timeless elegance and refined luxury. Offering 23 individually designed rooms and suites, along with a destination restaurant, bar, and rooftop pool, all just a stone’s throw from the Caravaggiodraped ancient walls of the city’s St. John’s Co Cathedral, Romègas is the perfect place from which to explore the sun-kissed Mediterranean island. romegashotel.com
