Aboard M/Y Ludzie

At 204 feet, LUDZIE occupies rare territory in the charter market, rarer still in the Indian Ocean. With the volume and pedigree of an Oceanco build and a charter program that is geared toward active charters, she is designed to be used for fun. Refreshed in 2026, she is set up for relaxed living and open-ended exploration, particularly in a region like the Indian Ocean, where spontaneity tends to define the experience. What sets LUDZIE apart is the onboard dynamic. A long-standing crew, shaped by years of working and traveling together, bring a natural rhythm that translates into a charter that feels intuitive rather than orchestrated. LudziePlans shift easily, whether that means extending a dive, setting up an impromptu beach lunch, or simply letting
the day unfold. Inside, spaces are generous but deliberately relaxed, while decks are arranged to keep guests outside. From shaded lounging areas to a reimagined sundeck centered around a Jacuzzi, the emphasis is on sociable living. At the water’s edge, a beach club and swim platform anchor the experience, while a strong selection of tenders and toys, including diving equipment, paddleboards, and towables, make the most of the Indian Ocean’s reefs, lagoons and open water.

adventurous LUDZIE proves there’s an entire world waiting to be explored.

MALDIVES
Despite its far-flung reputation, the Maldives is well connected via Velana International Airport in Malé. From here, guests typically transfer by speedboat
directly to the yacht. For those venturing further afield, domestic flights open up access to more remote cruising grounds, allowing itineraries to begin deep
within the archipelago, with ports of entry in Uligamu in the north and Gan in the southern Addu Atoll.

Crystal-clear shallow waters ripple over white sand, leading to a palm-fringed beach under a bright blue sky in the Maldives.

Exotic Escape
While much of the global charter fleet migrates to the Caribbean this winter, LUDZIE charts a more intrepid course, heading east to uncover the lesser-known charms
of the Indian Ocean. From the castaway idylls of the Maldives to the wild, sculptural shores of the Seychelles, these cruising grounds promise uninhabited islands,
powder-soft beaches, crystalline waters, and extraordinary wildlife. Adding to the allure are world-class resorts such as Soneva Fushi, The Nautilus Maldives, and One&Only
Reethi Rah in the Maldives, or North Island and Frégate Island, and the recently opened Cheval Blanc in the Seychelles.
For those drawn to a Robinson Crusoe-style charter, the Maldives offer a scattering of 1,000-plus coral islands, many blissfully uninhabited. Aboard a superyacht, it is possible to move effortlessly between remote atolls, exploring reef-fringed lagoons, diving pristine sites, and fishing in water far beyond the reach of most travelers.
Days unfold between sunrise swims, barefoot beach picnics, and evenings under vast,
uninterrupted skies. A collection of world-class resorts adds another dimension to the experience. Soneva Fushi remains a benchmark for barefoot luxury, while The Nautilus
Maldives offers a more intimate, free-spirited alternative. The Seychelles, by contrast, offer a more dramatic encounter with nature. Towering granite peaks rise from jungle-clad interiors,
creating some of the most iconic coastal landscapes in the world. Beneath the surface, vibrant
reefs teem with life, while the surrounding waters are renowned for big-game fishing and exceptional diving. Beyond the capital of Mahé, exclusive private islands elevate the experience further. North Island and Frégate Island offer rarefied seclusion, while the remote Amirantes archipelago unfolds in a chain of pristine atolls ideal for diving, snorkeling, and exploration.

SEYCHELLES

The Seychelles are accessed via Seychelles International Airport on Mahé, where most charters begin. Yachts typically embark from the main harbor or nearby marinas. From Mahé, itineraries fan out across the inner islands, including Praslin and La Digue, or further into the more remote outer islands for a true off-grid experience.
