Superyacht Sidekicks

Speedy, sexy and sleek, if you’re in the market to upgrade your tender, Navigator has compiled a list of must-consider contenders.

The ever-present sidekick to the superyacht, a luxury tender is of the utmost importance. Tenders allow guests to easily disembark when at anchor, explore areas the yacht isn’t able to access and so much more. The latest tenders to make a splash are offering more advancements than ever before.

Hawk 38

Quick as a flash, Sunseeker’s new Hawk 38 is the perfect towable for owners with the need for speed. This fast and fierce tender, built-in collaboration with Fabio Buzzi (FB) Design, is a true champion, winning 43 world speed records and 55 world championships. She clocks in at 38 feet (11.85m) and is able to hit 62 knots courtesy of her twin Mercury 400R outboard engines and Mercury Racing Digital Zero Effort throttles. Utilizing the latest technology, the yacht’s fully optimized hull provides top performance and low-cost maintenance, which is music to any owner’s ears.

331 Gran Turismo

Launching the first of its superyacht models, Greek yard Onda Tenders splashed the 331 Gran Turismo. This 32-foot (10m) beauty was designed in conjunction with the award-winning team at Mannerfelt Design Team, a Scandinavian firm. The 331 Gran Turismo follows in the footsteps of the brand’s limousine tender, also created in collaboration with Mannerfelt Design Team. She features a lightweight, deep-V hull and lightweight engines that allow for lowered fuel consumption without compromising performance or range. The 331 Gran Turismo is able to run at 60 knots utilizing only two 250hp outboard engines. The tender will make her debut at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival followed by the Monaco Yacht Show.

From her deep-V hull to her well-executed deck spaces, cutting-edge technology has been utilized to create every aspect of this sumptuous cruiser. Good looks, swift maneuvering, easy handling and ample deck space for 11 passengers and a driver ensure the Omega 45 is ideally suited to be the tender to a superyacht. Best of all, she can be customized to fit an owner’s needs.
