Northrop & Johnson is delighted to announce the sale of the 80′ (24.3m) luxury motor yacht SUNSET by Yacht Broker John Slate, representing the buyer.

Delivered in 2005, this Hatteras 80 showcases graceful styling, luxury accommodations and high-performance capabilities. With a cruising speed of 19 knots and a top speed of 25 knots, SUNSET is a dream. The expansive 21.3’ beam of the Hatteras 80 is equal to most 90’ yachts, and SUNSET’s solid fiberglass hull contributes to her strength and durability. Four spacious cabins aboard accommodate eight guests and four crew in two crew cabins. 

The vast main salon onboard SUNSET features custom furnishings and a formal dining area with a custom-designed table with six chairs. After a long day of cruising, guests can kick back and relax on the sofa or enjoy a drink at the full bar. There are a host of entertainment possibilities onboard SUNSET. The architectural design and styling are beautiful with rich wood, bowed cabinetry, detailed moldings and sketch-face panels. SUNSET’s stylish galley is equipped with the necessities to create delicious meals while underway and can be concealed when needed. 

SUNSET’s full-beam master suite features a king-size bed and large vertical ports in the hull sides. The VIP stateroom and guest cabins are just as luxurious, and all guests that spend their nights aboard will be in complete comfort and privacy. Additional features include a state-of-the-art engine room, extended swim platform and Naiad stabilizers. SUNSET’s aft deck is fitted with a U-shaped sofa for dining alfresco, while the aft flybridge offers an electric grill and chairs for laying out. SUNSET’s enclosed flybridge is the perfect place for watching the horizons ahead in complete comfort, with two sofas, a bar and a pop-out TV.
