79' (24m)Nordhavn Explorer Yacht CADENZA Sold

Northrop & Johnson is delighted to announce the sale of the 79-foot (24m) CADENZA sold by Yacht Broker Kevin Merrigan acting on behalf of the buyer.

Built by Nordhavn in 2006, CADENZA is equipped to travel the world. This explorer yacht has a number of custom features to ensure comfort and safety while on extended voyages regardless of the conditions. CADENZA is the only 79-foot Nordhavn to have ice sheathing Kevlar 24-inch above and below the waterline that runs aft to station four — this ensures she can effortlessly cruise icy climates. In 2009 the yacht received a refit that took her diesel-electric to standard drives.

The luxury explorer yacht showcases a custom interior designed by Scoot Cole that is finished with beautiful satin teak.  CADENZA’s main salon is light and airy, featuring large windows that also provide great visibility. The explorer yacht’s main salon offers ample seating as well as a fireplace creating a wonderful space for relaxing and entertaining. Forward of the main salon is a well-equipped galley with stainless steel appliances.

The motor yacht offers accommodations in the form of five comfortable and well-appointed staterooms. CADENZA showcases a lovely master suite complete with a plush memory foam king-size bed, ample storage and a beautiful en-suite bath with heated marble floors, including in the shower. The additional staterooms include a double VIP with a heated floor en-suite and a twin-bed stateroom with two Pullmans and access to the hall bath. Additionally, the expedition yacht has a bunked crew cabin.

CADENZA offers three great outdoor decks for enjoying the best of life on the water. The yacht has two grills as well as two large dining tables for alfresco dining. On the bow is a davit and storage for two tenders. The yacht also has a swim platform for easy access to the water and tenders.
