Northrop & Johnson is excited to announce its participation in the 2021 edition of the Audrain Concours and Motor Week. This now-annual event will take place from September 30 to October 3 in the city of Newport, Rhode Island, where the Audrain Auto Museum is located.
For four days, luxury auto brands, car aficionados, car collectors and more will converge in America’s original luxury capital, Newport. Here, Gatsby-era mansions line the coast and luxury superyachts cruise offshore. The schedule of events is brimming with exciting activities that you won’t want to miss.
Northrop & Johnson is thrilled to participate once again in the Wine by the Water wine tasting. It will take place on Thursday, September 30 from 3 to 5 pm at 41° North Marina. Attending guests will enjoy wine and canapes at the stunning alfresco marina bar as well as luxury yacht ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM. Listed for charter with Northrop & Johnson, this 161-foot (49.07m) yacht also will offer wine and canapes as well as tours and five-star hospitality.
The Gathering, an exceptional lawn party held at Doris Duke’s spectacular Rough Point mansion is on the agenda again in 2021. Northrop & Johnson will be on hand at this event as well to introduce guests to the glamorous world of yachting.
As in 2019, additional events during Audrain Concours and Motor Week include the Concours Village at the International Tennis Hall of Fame and various seminars hosted by heavy hitters in the auto industry. Hilltop Hangout happy hours and a VIP welcome dinner also are on the agenda. The Audrain Tour d’Elegance parade will have the streets of Newport chock full of rare, vintage and collectible automobiles. The Audrain Auto Museum Annual Fundraising Gala is a highlight of the week. The crown jewel event of the four days, the Audrain Newport Concours d’Elegance will be held at The Breakers.
